I know this is going to sound bad, but if I were KWP, Onomah and Edwards I would seriously be thinking about leaving Spurs.
What is the point? They have shown they are good enough to get a chance but they don't get games KWP played his what second game against Wimbledon? Edwards - nothing?
Onomah was getting sub appearances on the RW last year and now he is on loan playing up front. Except for Winks Poch is, for whatever reason not giving these players a chance.
KWP, especially, should be playing 10-15 games minimum this season.
I wonder how much power do our U23 managers have? Do they have final say or do they need to listen to Poch&McDermott
As in article said Burnett keep playing players those have no future here. Why? Whose decision is this?(Burnett,Poch and McDermott or all of them)
Another example was when Ugo kept playing Amos at LB in his most important year(imo). and Walkes as No.10.
At Kwp's age,At kwp's age kane and rose were both loaned out. They did alright didn't they?
At Kwp's age,
kane had at least first team 71 appearances
Rose had at least first team 35 appearances however he also missed a season due to a knee injury that led to his position change

I was talking about loan appearances as wellYou sure? At 20 years old kane was at loan at norwich. I can't remember him appearing for us 71 times before that? He then went to leicester.
Rose was on loan at bristol aged 20.
I was talking about loan appearances as well
Kane actually at 20 was starting to get a chance over soldado in the first team under sherwood

KWP is better than Rose at that age but Kane was a weird case where he was rated by people by people watching youth matches and not by everyone elseIsn't KWP seen as a better prospect than the other 2 at that point as well?
They arent irrelevant, having a player who has played a lot of first team games before they get a shot in the first team is a good way to prepare a footballer before they become a regular as opposed to a handful of gamesKane loan appearances are irrelevant tbh. We are talking about spurs 1st team. I don’t see any panic. The player most worried imo should be Onomah. If I was him I’d come back and fight for place. He’s impressing nobody at Villa. Meanwhile winks is likely to edge further ahead of him. And there’s little doubt we will buy a CM in summer. Villa was a bad move tbh he needed a PL team.
True which is why I didnt include those games in that total and Im not writing off KWP chances yetFor the last 6 games of the season. Who's to say kwp doesn't get more games this season? It will be tough as trips and aurier are better than soldado was for us.
The point was it just highlights the fact that most of the players in our team had a good bit of first team experience before they broke in to our team and when they were at the same ageI love this thread but the way it often dissolves into "player X had played Y times by the time he wa Z years old" and those variables shift and wobble in all sort of back assward ways to make a meaningless point is very dull and tiring. You guys can do better.
KWP is probably the first youth player under Poch's tenure that I've looked at and thought we need to really put our eggs in this basket and bleed him. I understand getting Aurier but Trippier as our #2 and first choice RB always had major red flags (even if Trippier's performance at Wembley vs. Madrid is one of my legit favorites of this season).
