just passed the ball and seemed to step awkwardly and went down, he did get back on his feet and hobble around a bit but went back down again. he did walk off, is that possible with a break?
Modric walked off after he broke his leg.
A quick google search suggests that unless he's fractured bone as well then it should only be 6-12 weeks recovery for AITFL ligament damage.
Listening to talksport, and they're mentioning England are going to have to employ one BAME coach at each level. And it just reminded of a tweet I saw which mentioned Justin Cochrane is leaving to join the FA. Big shame that we will be losing such an important and influential coach. And while I understand the reason the rule has been brought in, it's a shame we will be losing our coach as a result, which might otherwise not have happened were this rule to come in. This would no doubt reward his work if he does want a go and he would more than deserve it, but then does open the question why it took until this rule to come in before he apparently got a look in.
Another one would always looked good when he played but it was just never often enough was Cameron Lancaster. He was a really tidy striker but he suffered some horrendous injuries. Dorian Dervite also comes to mind. He was a really tasty player who looked to have the lot. He made his debut in the cup and looked excellent but then I think he destroyed his knee in his very next game playing for the U23s and was out for what seemed like forever. He was never the same player after that and now plays at Bolton where he is a pretty average Championship defender.
I'm on a bit of a hobbie horse here, lol, I could go on and on.
Paul McBride, is another one. A really pacey, tricky winger who was in the same age group as Kane. He had some serious potential but just picked up injury after injury.
Jamie Davis was a very exciting young winger we had way back. He missed so much football through injury though and just faded away. Chris Riley, now on the staff, was a really promising right back as a schoolboy but just got wrecked through injury and had to retire early.
Retiring early reminds me of Kieran McKenna, former U18s boss now running the academy at Man Utd. He was with us for a number of years because of his genuine talent but just suffered back to back near career ending injuries. The last one, to his hip finished him off.
I'll stop now because I'm probably boring everyone.
Cameron did have a first team appearance didn't he? Seem to remember him coming on as a sub and looking a tasty striker.

I enjoyed these mini trips down memory lane a lot!
I saw McBride have some good games but he also had some very poor games too - he was very timid and quiet and I think he lacked the drive needed to kick on.
Lancaster I think had injuries when he was 14/15/16 which stopped him fulfilling his potential - he had something, but he barely ever put a run together.
Modeste, Davis and Riley never really impressed me all that much.
