So, who we got here with season tickets for new season? Me & my son have been ST holders since to Women were promoted to the WSL.
We go every (almost) home game and London away games.
Our first game is Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Sunday 1st October - 5pm kick-off, which is a real pain in the arse for us.

Because I live in Norwich now, I can't really get to many of the games but I definitely want to beat my two from last season. Much like the men's team, I'd certainly have a season ticket if I were still in London.

Thats probably not good for the squad. It seems like there had been some investment this summer, and that maybe mid-table was the target.

Was it something that happened during the World Cup or an operation that was postponed due to the WC?

If the latter she would have almost been back by now.
I asked that and she said she found out after the World Cup.

Season kicks off tomorrow, and the official site still hasn't updated the squad list on the website. That's really shit. https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/teams/women/players/

Anyway, it's likely to be another struggle but looking forward to the season. Missing Bethany to start the season (and starting at Chelsea) is obviously bad, but quite exciting to see Olga Ahtinen especially. Some of the youngsters, namely Gracie Pearse and Jess Naz (who is surely ready to properly breakout now) too.

Not expecting us to be challenging for the Champions League, but would be nice to avoid the relegation scrap.

We're definitely the better team so far away at Chelsea. Team is working hard and playing well.
Very confident on the ball, playing out from the back

Who on earth is the assistant commentator on this game she is doing my head in. Digging into Spurs every chance she gets. Spurs have been the better team in this opening but you would think we are camped on the edge of the area listening to her.

1-0 down but more than holding our own away to the champions. Happy with that so far considering new manager, new style, no England.

Has anyone else noticed how many women footballers have mens names as surnames? It's disproportionate! In this game, including subs, there's Thomas, Clinton, James, Graham and Neville for us, and Charles, James and Lawrence for Chelsea. Crazy! lol.

Absolutely no shame in that. Huge improvement on last season, against probably the best team in the league. COYS

Incredible how much better we looked compared to last season. Every worked their socks off. Impressed by pretty much everyone!

Missed the first half and was worried as didn't look too great at start of the second as Chelsea moved up a gear. However, they started to put passes together and definitely looked to have more threat than in the last year or two. Clinton and Thomas added a lot up top. If only Neville or Naz could have put their shots further away from the Chelsea keeper.

A promising start for the new manager.

We were arguably the better team for a lot of the first half. If Beth plays in that then I'm confident we would have come away with something (that's not a slight on Martha, she was excellent, but you can't really replace someone as clinical as Beth).

Apparently it was the most shots Chelsea have conceded in over a decade too which is definitely an improvement on our past seasons! I'm definitely excited to see Beth in this team. She scored a hatful with barely an creativity behind her so should be fun times for her this season (I hope!).
