Like breath of fresh air from last year. I know it’s only Bristol and they’re a lot of people choice to go down but there’s no way that game would have been like this last year. Even if we had won, we’d have huffed and puffed and probably scored a scrappy goal. Liking what I’m seeing so far!

I don't follow the woman's team very closely - but has there been a lot of turnover in the squad? Seems to have been more players brought in, at a higher level.

Not too much, we had about 6 leave (only 2 of those were regular starters, one goalkeeper and a left back who retired). And we got 6 in, 4 permanent and 2 loans. Olga Aithinen (midfielder) seems quality. She’s definitely added something we were missing last season.

Mostly it’s just the way we’re being set up to play I think. That’s and we don’t have many injuries to key players, whereas last season for more than half of it we struggled to even fill the bench.

Olga Aithinen looks so good. Really impressed with her so far. Can't wait to see her play through prefect balls to Beth England, once she's back.

Kick off in half an hour and the game is on Spurs Play.
Reading make 7 changes and Spurs 10 with only Angharad James keeping her place.
Heavy rotation in the Conti Cup, which is the League cup comparable to the mens game. First part is a group stage against 4 other teams where you get 2 home games and 2 away games. CL teams sit out the Group Stage, but Arsenal dropping out from the qualifiers to CL is included - and we're unlucky to have drawn them into our group and an away game as well. Group winner go to the next round, while just the best number 2 from all groups join them.

VOTIKOVA;
PEARSE, TURNER, ZADORSKY, ALE;
JAMES, PERCIVAL (c), AYANE;
GRAHAM, LINYAN, NAZ.

Heeps, Bartrip, Clinton, Petzelberger, Thomas, Ahtinen, Buhler, Spence, Summanen.

Most of the key players are on the bench if needed.

Robert Vilahamn makes 10 changes from the weekend's match against Bristol City, with Angharad James the only player to retain her place in the starting line-up. Barbora Votikova and Zhang Linyan come in for their debuts while Ramona Petzelberger is back in the squad, having been sidelined since last September. Welcome back, Ramona!

1-0 Linyan (10 min, debut goal)
2-0 Graham (19 min)
HT
3-0 Ale (47 min, Petzelberger assist 2 minutes after her return from 1y injury)
4-0 Percival (57 min)
5-0 Naz (62 min)
6-0 Thomas (71 min)
