No spoilers and regardless of the match outcome (was a decent match) I am really impressed with the way our lads are conducting themselves. They come across as very mature and they seem to listen to Bisping and the other coaches and are taking it seriously.

A few of the USA guys are pissing me off (Demarques the main ring leader) and I am getting more patriotic by the episode.

Very much so. Especially when you see the preview to episode 5. Just hope that mentality continues.

1-0 to the Team UK! Lovin it. And that was one of our weakest fighters really. I love how Bisping is talking smack all the time too. He's starting to get in their heads now. And the games Team US are playing are complete tosh. Ooh, lets write on someones wrestling boots. That'll show em  What really makes me laugh though is their weak attempts at the English speaking. Tea and Crumpets, Cheerio. Is that supposed to be funny?

It is a massive boost to us. The definitely picked Nick as he is the weakest. Nick actually beat him twice considering the ref missed a tapout. So massive psychological battle won there. It bodes well that next week's preview shows the US team in meltdown and the UK team bonding as a team and playing football. One US team member even said he wanted to hang out with the UK team.

Bisping does smack but he does know its part of the game. Not just the PR side, but as he explained, if you can get inside the other guy's head, then you've beaten him before he's got into the ring. Good point, that.

Can't wait to see the next show, there will be two matches. Really bursting with national pride over this series, its like watching England in the World Cup!

Bit dissapointed Bisping missed the last fight on the Ultimate Fighter. He's been a top coach up until that point, i wonder why he missed it? At least the team spirit is a lot better in team UK though. The US team has a lot of arrogance and selfishness in it.

More Bisping Controversy in this weeks show. With the scores at 4-4, it looks as though Dana White is keen to but teammates against teammates to guarentee a US vs. UK finale in each weight class.

Did anyone catch the Machida vs. Evans fight. Wow, Machida is very elusive

Seems to get progressively better with each fight. Master of judging distance. No obvious weakpoints.

The previous fight v Silva

I cant believe how Team US got back to 4-4 on the Ultimate Fighter, all because the last 2 GB fighters completely gased after the first round. Does Bisping not do Cardio with them?

It's come out that both fighters had lung infections, which contributed to the gassing. Lawson apparently tapped because he didn't want to take any further punishment and says he wants a rematch with Dent on his blog. Faulkner has also mentioned a lung infection, though his mental state was very weak for a fighter, almost on a level with that American guy. I suppose these could be taken as excuses but that's apparently the reason. I would be very surprised if there were cardio issues since the Wolfslair is reknowned for its work ethic.

Kimbo Slice has signed up for the All Heavyweight TUF 10, the season is being coached by Evans and Rampage. Frank Trigg has also re-signed with the UFC.

Thats why i was surprised, because Bisping has exceptional cardio. A lung infection would make sense over bad cardio. They do seem to pick up some nasty shit on that show. The bloke with herpes on his head was the worst.

Great idea to have Evans and Rampage as coaches. That'll be an interesting one followed by a good fight. But i would have thought Rampage would get his title match first. I guess he could still have one before the series starts.

Not a big fan of Kimbo Slice. But its a smart move on Dana's part, because he's very marketable fighter. He wont get the protection he's used to in the UFC though. Thompson had him beat at Elite before his ear was blown up. He's a nasty dude, but lacks the talent for MMA. I'd love to see him up against someone like Shane Carwin.

Not interested in the return of Frank Trigg. He wasn't all that impressive last time he was in UFC.

Hopefully the Wanderlei Silva / Rich Franklin fight will be good in a couple of weeks though. This is a big fight for both fighters. Cro Cop returns on that card aswell. Hopefully we see a much improved version reminiscent of his Pride Days, and not his first spell in UFC. And the Ultimate Fighter Finale is being headlined by Clay Guida / Diego Sanchez in a few weeks. Thats should be a great fight.

Not UFC, but did anyone see WEC? Arlovski beat in 20s by Brett Rogers. And to think Roach wants him to become a boxer.

Hands Andrei, hands.

I think Wanderlei can be awesome at 185 though. I would love to see the 2 Silvas face off after.

I'm so pleased team GB got a full GB 155lbs final of the Ultimate Fighter. There should be a few GB guys making it into the UFC now aswell as possibly both these 2. It should be a great final too.

Indeedy, was pleased to see an all-UK finale for the lightweights. I expect James Wilkes to go through and fight Demarques Johnson, and hopefully re-arrange his face. Remember how both coaches wanted the fight but Dana refused it? Methinks he seeded the fightcard. As nice as Nick is, he was never going to beat Johnson. Surprised he got to points though, that was impressive. Hopefully he'll surface again.

UFC99 isn't setting me alight, but looking forward to UFC 100. Bisping/Franklin will be good. I'm not too hopeful for Bisping as although he's a very capable fighter, he seems to be going a bit Ricky Hatton. Looking forward to Lesnar/Mir and also seeing CB Dollaway fight.

You can finally buy the TUF UK shorts on their website. Almost fainted at the price. $61?? They better have gold leaf on or something.

I enjoyed that Wanderlei Silva and Rich Franklin fight. I thought Silva struggled with the cutting weight though. But he's such an entertaining fighter. The first round he fought on the counter and it didn't really suit him. But when he rocked Franklin in the second round it was like he smelt blood and went on the offensive. It made for an entertaining fight. Franklin was pure class with the standup, but Silva was more devestating. Close fight and i think it was a fair decision, but could of gone either way. I'd like to see the more intense Wanderlei from the start though.

Its great to see Cro Cop back aswell. He started to look more like his old self. He's just so calm and calculating, and picks the perfect time to strike. Shame it ended the way it did, but he deserved to win, he had him rocked.

Quick Swick looked good in his fight. And Cain looked dominant but not devestating against Congo. A decent UFC event really, nothing too special but worth a watch, especially for the main event match.

I'm looking forward to the Ultimate Finale headlined by Sanchez and Guida. And not long until UFC 100 which is shaping up to be one of the best ever.

The Davis / Hardy fight was fight of the night for me, I loved it that there was so much needle going into the contest, and though it was a tight call I think Hardy did enough damage in the final round.

Taylor, Kelly, Etim and Hathaway all won on in the prelims, so UK MMA is picking up a bit of momentum in the UFC.

Yeah enjoyed UFC 99!!

Only blight on the night for me was the Crocop finger poke!!. He was dominating anyway but a real shame to take Mostapha out that way. Felt sorry for the guy as he seemed more then willing to trade with Mirko

As for Cain Velasquez...jesus!!, he took some massive hits from Cheick and most men would have been sparked out but he just carried on. His ground/wrestling work was something else as well. How do you get the bloody guy off you!!! Eek

Wanderlei has seen better days to be honest and I think his UFC swansong should be against his old buddy Anderson Silva. Be a great fight to finish on although I suspect he'll get knocked out

Roll on UFC 100. Really looking forward to seeing Lesnar v Mir and Henderson v Bisping !!!

The Ultimate Fighter Finale is on tomorrow night aswell. I'm looking forward to the Guida and Sanchez main event. And hopefully the Team UK guy will win the semi-final match, then shut the yank up in the final.

Its not the finale as such. Its just the final placing show. The finale with Pearson v Winner & Guida is on Saturday night in the US.

Apparently Dollar and Dent have been called up to fight a runner's up match at the finale. If they don't do the same with Nick and the loser of the James Wilks match, i'll be pissed. Nothing seems to be mentioned about it though, but the lightweight runner-ups match has only been announced recently.

They just showed the UK episode final placing match, so if you don't want to know who's fighting Johnson, look away now...

James Wilks went through as expected. It wasn't exactly a mind-blowing match. Wore him down with occasional blows, but it was tit-for-tat for big parts. In the end he managed to get a TKO via some knees but seemed to get stopped quite quickly by Herb Dean. He got past a weak opponent like that, but he doesn't stand a chance against Johnson if he fights like that again.

Still, no news on whether there will be a welterweight runner-up match. I'll be pissed if there isn't.
