I'm not calling for us to be top of the league, all I want is to see us make some progress on the pitch, but we have'nt progressed this season one bit, if anything we have gone backwards.
I'm all for giving a manager time, but it has to be the right manager and there has to be signs of progression, otherwise it's just giving a manager time for the sake of it.
3 years playing like today. Ill be watching Rugby league long before thatI appreciate your outlook, i agree that it would be nice to see some cohesion within the team. I still think Pochettino will come good, let him build his own team and see where we are in 3 years time.

"Dembele - Our best central midfielder"Agree with most of OP squad analysis which bit do you think he's wrong about?
It's all subjective. At the end of the day, it's down to Levy/Lewis anyway. Difficulty for Levy will be accepting that yet again, he has made the wrong choice (not saying that I want Poch out at all, I really don't fancy yet another change).I like your optimism about Poch and really wish I could share it
I just think we are going to have to agree to disagree on this one though.
On what single basis so far can you say that? choice of captain, buying Fazio and Stambouli? dropping our best defender
Vertonghan? Playing Adebayor constantly? playing too strong a team in Europe? not playing two up top in home games?
tell me why he should have more time?
What really irks me is that we have brought in a manager who is well known for stubbornly adhering to a rigid philosophy, and that expect him to make it work with a squad that has been cobbled together by a committee whose purpose is to buy players that will be profitable, rather than players that suit our footballing needs. In order to a manager like Poch to be successful, he needs to be given financial backing and total control over the playing staff, two things that are totally anathema to the way that Levy runs the club.
If Levy was intent on persisting with with the current structure, what he really needed to do was bring in an experienced, pragmatic manager who can take a hodgepodge of players and figure out a way for them to function coherently, and we've basically chosen to do the opposite of that with Pochettino. There is a total mismatch between the structure of the club and the needs of the manager, and unless that changes (it won't) this project is doomed for failure.
Fair that was one of the few I disagreed with also the Walker one."Dembele - Our best central midfielder"
Now in the kindest possible way, go away.
Please..
I see a Thomas Tuchel Fan Club Reunion on the horizon.
@thinktank You made me dream (for about 5 minutes admittedly) it might be different this time you git
There was a time when men were kind
When their voices were soft
And their words inviting
There was a time when love was blind
And the world was a song
And the song was exciting
There was a time
Then it all went wrong
I dreamed a dream in time gone by
When hope was high
And life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving
Then I was young and unafraid
So dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung
No wine untasted
But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart
And they turn your dream to shame
He slept a summer by my side
He filled my days with endless wonder
He took my childhood in his stride
But he was gone when autumn came
And still I dream he'll come to me
That we will live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather
I had a dream my life would be
So different from this hell I'm living
So different now from what it seemed
Now life has killed
The dream I dreamed
I think the real question here is has Poch lost the dressing room?? The little effort the guys show for him seem to suggest he has or very nearly. If he has then how can we keep him on?
I imagine Lewis got a taste for it when he allegedly sacked Redknapp for non football reasons.Think its all bollocks lewis appointed poch, He has no interest in football and probably doesnt know the difference between Poch and Mourinho
Time for Levy to move on.
Despite his undoubted good work, he HAS to be held responsible for mess,
And it really is a mess.
