AVB clearly doesn't get how Levy works.

Also didn't he say on Thursday when asked about Chiriches, Eriksen & Lamela "Yes, and others"?

Lot people going to be disappointed.

AVB when asked if there were anymore incoming he said no.

Im not saying we will sign anyone tomorrow but 1 thing I don't believe is anything a Manager says when they are asked about transfers in/out

There was no categoric no from AVB but did say it would probably be more departure intensive which we all knew it would be.

I'm still very sceptical of breaking our transfer record for a fourth time and especially on the last day but I think this summer has taught me that you can't write anything off.

Seriously? From optimistic to pessimistic in 24hrs. We've signed some great players this window. Erikson and Lamela will provide much needed flair. A bad day but an exciting season ahead. Maybe more to come lets see

Lets not be fickle.

Spurs sign 7 players.

"We're gonna win the league"

Arsenal subsequently linked to one player.

"We won't get top 4"

Come on.

People it seems are very fragile but what you say is bang on - we've got so much to look forward to and I don't give a tinkers toss who Arsenal or any other club sign.

Right - get yer selves to the transfer pledge thread and stick some money on who we will sign tomorrow. Think of poor Rob and the fact that the transfers are going to be thin on the ground for the next few windows: he needs the money.

If it helps, picture him as a poor African kid with flies on his face and Lenny Henry wearing a red nose doing an appeal about him.

That makes me Lenny Henry in this example.

I'm scared of Dawn French.

Help me.

Pledge money!

I wonder why we annonced Bale today instead of on friday when everyone was on a high anyway? On friday i would have been pretty ok with Bale going, and i thought that feeling would last tbh, but now i am pretty low over it anyway :(

Could that player be Ozil ? He would be perfect for us. He is also linked with Arsenal. So maybe he flirts with Arsenal until last second and signs with us leaving Arsenal without reinfocments

Exactly. We were a bag of balls today but that shouldn't have any impact on our optimism for the season.

Tomorrow will bring what it brings. I don't expect any sort of mega signing but it'll be an exciting day either way.

Lloris in goal, Jan and Kaboul in the middle, Sandro and Paulinho in the middle with Dembele in front, Eriksen and Lamela either side of Soldado - Calm the fuck down.
