I don't think we have too much options regarding getting a striker in better than Ade, otherwise we would have done so already, unless Baldini can unearth some talent.

VDV went to the training ground the morning he left too! Lets see if Soldier leaves 20 mins later!

Imperative to sign another striker if Ade is off. Unless we feel Kane is ready to be 3rd choice back up?

Also not sure it's great news about Soldado turning up; depends how much belief you invest in the 'first right of refusal'

I dont see any problem with the picture - he has been there for 5 years and I have no doubt some of his belongings are at the training ground. GreyFox seems a very respected ITK and that along with the fact Adebayor suddenly didnt make our bench makes me confident that something has happened.

Obviously i'm basing this on skinny to anorexic amounts of knowledge but what's the point of this guy? He goes to Valencia, fails to do a deal (although that might not be his fault), flies home, then Levy takes over negotiations. I mean, why hire the guy in the first place if you're going to get your hands dirty yourself anyway? Seems strange.

As I said, based on not much.......meh. As long as we sign Soldado, I don't care who does the deal

He looks happy to me there! They both do! I'm not a body language expert but that doesn't look great for us. I'm not liking my negative vibes this morning. I hope I'm wrong and look like a tit. Pray for Soldier! :(

Yes. In most countries people shake hands when they meet.
I realise that GS, but I didn't know the circumstances at the time. If it had been a group of players turning up at once then it might have been more poignant. Having seen the pictures now though, it looks like a standard "hi, how are ya" type of greeting. :)

There was ITK yesterday saying that if he trains today then our exclusivity is cancelled which would allow Liverpool to close the deal

I am resigned to the fact he is going there

If it was gonna happen, it would have happened by now, we have been hearing the same things since Monday and still nothing concrete has happened.

Realistically just there to run the scouting and to sell the club to players and agents. Won't have anything to do with money I wouldn't have thought.

If Kane had even half a chance of being 3rd choice wouldn't he have been involved on this tour? Assuming he isn't injured...

Said this yesterday in Soldado thread. Interesting how quiet JJ is being on this deal.

Not bashing but JJ hasnt had the greatest ITK record of late so I wouldnt worry too much tbh. The fact our manager said we are in talks with Valencia and Soldado probably says a lot more than JJ saying little.
