The only way I can see it being a done deal was if Valencia are indeed waiting on a replacement first. If he plays in their friendly though then there is clearly no agreement in place.

He isn't in their squad for the friendlies, so won't play. He'll probably train but what's the problem with that, just shows as of today no agreement has been agreed. 7 days to agree a deal though.

Been away for a week and the first thing I did was check the RO section late last night. It was hot where I was and the tide came in. And then it went out. Then the cycle just repeated again. I'm feeling chilled.

Things do look as if they're moving. I don't understand why Danny needs to come back from HK in order for us to agree any deal though.

Can the Soldado thread just be reopened already, the weekend ITK never gets many pages and with the Soldado thread closed this has got 15 already and we'll all get moaned at for 'spamming' this one soon enough

I think everybody realises that harry being my source has pretty much ensured that any info i get at spurs is now 2nd rate at best. However if i hear it then i will call it.

Its not a competition, and i dont think that personally i have a "reputation" to defend. Just call it as i see it or hear it

Soldado is a Spurs player in all but an official capacity. Shame thats the most important bit though

But you have alluded in the past to different sources, including journos and IIRC agents. Is this no longer the case?

Would you like to explain why? Didnt realise we had a deadline of the 27th July for transfers to be complete tbh. Levy is a negotiator and is no doubt trying to get the best deal for us. He may or may not come to us - either way its not done yet!

Like you say we are aware of your source, and most people should understand it is not direct from spurs, but still a bloody good source!

The trouble is people take things as gospel (how many times has this been discussed?!) and hang on to every word of the ITK'S, and if it doesn't happen for whatever reason then you are questioned, it's not an enviable situation looking in from the outside! But 99.9% of us Spurs fans in here understand you're passing on what you can. Please keep it up sir!
