I hope that BAE stays if we are not going for another LB

I think Rose is good, but not the quality we need starting most PL matches.

Not sure AvB agrees, was I the only 1 who was surprised he didn't get a minute runout in Hong Kong

Remy makes perfect sense. As you say, he can play as a wide forward but also another option for CF. I'm sure he'd jump at the chance to join us if we were interested.

Apart from the rape allegations.

How would our female fans feel? Our sponsors?

Anyway a&c will get pissed off with that kind of talk so i'll say no more.

We are reluctant to deal with madrid, yet we have a partnership with them?! Doink! That partnership was just about Levy trying to style out the Modric deal and not lose face anyway.

I am a little, even if we look to see, he would be a better option to teams with a bit of match fitness.
Wouldnt be shocked if we sold him, but not to bring anyone in and have Rose and Fryers as our LB's? im really insure on that

Hate to be a pedant but great point. There is wrong tenses and misspellings amongst other things wrong with that post. Meh, maybe he was in a rush.

Yep, 'muted' (strange use of the word) or instead 'mooted' which is of course positive.

I love the Journalists spelling...

He can be let off though as he's not an actual Journalist, or he wasn't when he introduced himself way back when. I seem to remember he was trying to get into the business although someone might correct me. Hopefully it worked out for him and he did become one though lol.

Vertonghen as well - AVB used him a fair few times there last season when he felt the opposition suited it.

I agree, good left backs don't grow on trees though. I think AvB likes Rose though and if Rose is to stay then he has to play regular. Tough call.

If Liverpool sell Suarez they will go into panic buy pay anything mode like they did when they sold Torres.
They paid 35m for Carroll then. It is entirely feasible that that will go in hard for Soldado if it comes to it, I think we need to get this business signed sealed and delivered to head off that possibility.
This may be a little out of date now but do you really think after the God almighty cock up Liverpool made last time making them an absolute laughing stock that the owners are going to be so stupid as to walk into the same dagliesh style trap again? Never in a million years. They are on a journey and Soldado is a diversion, a fork in the road they won't take.

As for Journo's ITK, all good news but I don't think we'll avoid dealing with Real Madrid if they've got the player we want, after all, the cards are all stacked in our favour.:)

Are we seriously now dissecting an ITK's grammar? I'm fast losing patience with this seemingly constant stream of snideyness directed towards ITK's. I'm also starting to take the view that maybe this thread/forum needs to return to the good old days in January and we'll mod it more strictly. It'll give us a month to weed out the codpieces.

He was probably on the phone or something. And if I recall correctly didn't he originally say that he was someone who used to be involved in football and is now trying to make it as a Journalist?

I expect them to go in for a big name striker if they sell Suarez. They will have the money and the need. And being Liverpool FC rightful champions of England will be sure to want to make a statement of sorts, not necessarily with the level of retardation as before but I would expect a statement signing yes.

Soldado fits the bill.

i have been sceptical about tottenhams interest in Soldado but i've been told in the last hour that fee has now been agreed with Valencia for the striker. there is genuine interest in the madrid left back but he has lots of offers and tottenham are reluctant to deal with madrid for obvious reasons. tottenham are definitly after a left back. Luke Shaw was mention by the powers above but AVB has muted the idea. and i would not expect the spending to stop there.

You're a good lad Journo!!! put a smile on my face as I wait in A&E with my poorly 18month old son (y)
