Fine bit of business if we have got that for the pair of them.Watford itk saying stambouli and capoue deal done for £13.5m. Should be announced in the next couple of days.
Had the benefit of some tax write-downs though - always makes Levy happy.........less a few million in wages.
Bet £4 to get £1 back (plus stake)Hardly a dead cert then!
Two cabbages, one smaller than the other but from the same grocery
Savoy Cabbage & Brussels Sprouts are two common varieties of cabbage. The Savoy being considerably larger than the sprout.
Savoy was a historical feudal territory of the House of Savoy during the 11th - 18th centuries, of which Turin was the capital from 1563 onwards.
Brussels is... well, Brussels.
So maybe the cryptic refers to players from Turin and Brussels.
"From the same grocery" could mean they're represented by the same agency.
A couple of players we've been linked to recently, Llorente (currently of Juventus, Turin) and Mitrovic (currently playing for Anderlecht in Brussels) are both represented by Mondial Sport Management.
So that's my guess.
Wow, pretty solid signings for them. Don't think we'd sell both without another CM imminent though
Kramer and Son would be incredible business. I'd easily splash 35m for that pairing. Not going to happen though. What a shame.
To sell Capoue and Stambouli is another good piece of business and I had not thought that we can shift them so early in the window. If this is going to be confirmed we already got about 30m for Paul, Capoue, Holtby, Stambouli and Falque. Aim now has to be to replace them with Alli, Pritchard, Winks/ Carroll, Milos and a class player in the 20-25m region.
falque???
we sold him a year ago

wasnt there some sell on fee we could be getting for him?
But Son has not got anything to do with small cabbage, other than they have a cabbage dish in Korea. If he was Irish you could link him by saying in Ireland they have Colcannon. Of if we was from El Salvador we could link him to Curtido and so on... you can't link a player just because his compatriots eat cabbage and have a dish named after it.
The alternative is even more tenuous, that a) Kramer is a Kraut (can kind of work, but not as the lynch-pin to the whole clue), and that son could mean small, but obviously doesn't at all - I'm a son and I'm full grown.
Finally the fact that we haven't been linked at all is not what makes the guesses stronger, but what makes them even more terrible, because frankly they're now random. The only chance whatsoever of guessing correctly is if we assume they are already linked to us. Otherwise you can guess any two players just about and probably find a national dish of cabbage or whatever...
Decimal odds are so much easier to understand and calculate. Whenever I've read odds as they arte presented in England I've never understood them until I read your post.Skybet has us at 8/15 - you bet 15 to win 8

We got a sell on fee
its why i said we could be getting for him.
If he plays for them (im guessing a competitive game) then they activate a buy out and will pay another 7million Euros for him
It was a fat finger error - but hey ho
It'll be a little more complicated than that, otherwise they wouldn't bother with the paperwork.
AS Roma SpA announces that the club have signed a loan agreement with Genoa CFC SpA for the services of Iago Falqué Silva until June 30, 2016 for a fee of €1 million. The agreement also includes a commitment to buy the player permanently for a further fee of €7 million once he makes at least one competitive appearance for the club. Finally, the agreement also includes a performance-related bonus of a maximum of €1 million should the player reach certain targets.
Not yet we haven't - he hasn't been sold.
It'll be a little more complicated than that, otherwise they wouldn't bother with the paperwork. As an example, it took almost a year for Holtby's transfer to be 'activated' in similar circumstances. It wouldn't surprise me if he was sold on to Roma with some dodgy levy-style deal than meant we got 15% of nothing.
If that's the case I apologise, but it's around the 5th time I've received that rating from you on similar posts.
