The worry i have for roberts is that although he has some great skill, he could easily be another jose diminguez.

Its a risk buying any young player, but for a relatively small fee he could be immense for us in a couple of years, or as you say fall by the wayside

I don't remember dominguez too well other than he was short I was around 7/8 his time. What I will say about Roberts that separates from all the other top wingers we produce, and why he reminds me of Robben is because he doesn't use tricks to beat people. I don't see him doing a lot of stepover and all that he is just a really good dribbler with the ball and has purpose to it, like driving into the box. I can't remember much about his passing game but his finishing is good and he has good movement as well.

I am concerned who our CF / Winger and DCM / MF targets are going to be, especially as Schneiderlin is now out of reach and Imbula has gone to Porto and Benteke sounds like he is going to Liverpool and Martial signed a new contract.

I was really hoping for Benteke and Schneiderlin and hopefully a winger as the summer's business and the move on the deadwood.

I disagree with this, it always makes me laugh that people actually believe that Chelsea pinched Will.I.AM off us as a result of ITK leaks, his agent and club would both have been letting anyone and everyone know about it to bump up the price as much as possible, no need for Jose to be scouring SC to hear about it...

I imagine it's more to do with not outing the ITK as the source of the leak to the club.

Don't you think there agents leak info and create a lot of ITK I am sure his agent was on the phone to Chelsea. Also not fussed 30 mil for William seems like bad biz

With regard the Roberts ITK…….We don't give two hoots if its talked about in here. There's been ITK about him today and these things have a certain shelf life when it comes to this thread. After a couple of days or so we'd expect things to natually go toward 'his' thread and more recent ITK to take centre stage which frees us from the tedium of seeing the same things repeated and allows us to touch ourselves 'down there' over cabbages.
