Any early bets on who might prove to be the whipping boys this season? My money is most certainly on West Brom, after they thought it was a good idea to get rid of the reasonably experienced Pep Mel and bring in
Everton's youth coach.
A brave man might put his money on Southampton after their exodus, although if they don't adequately fill those holes with replacements, that man might make some money.

Soooo, what are the odds on West Brom sacking this guy by November and then bring in SHerwood to save them from relegation and it fails miserably?

Southampton are pretty fucked, unless they get a new owner in by January.

Haha, they're absolute idiots if Sherwood didn't join them because they were being difficult about it and didn't want to accept his terms (as reports indicated.) I'm only guessing it's not that they didn't want him or that Sherwood just wasn't interested. But yeah, if Sherwood is unemployed WHEN they sack this man, I could him going.

As good a job Dyche has done my money is on burnley, they just lack depth and quality for the long haul.

Metalhead

But that's a debate for another thread.....

For me too. I'm surprised they weren't mentioned earlier in the thread.

I think Swansea are going to struggle this year. I think they'll go down with Burnley and Leicester.

I can see Leicester & Burnley getting a few hidings this year, other than that there's about 8 clubs who could go down

I think there young squad will have matured and have enough to finish 14th/13th

Think burnley will be whipping boys

I thought that before last season and they were even worse! The young players didn't kick on (Bannan, Albrighton) and they had to start again.

When they lose Vlaar to Southampton and Benteke in Jan they will be fucked IMO.

Villa..
Southampton...

But it depends on how we all start and how quick injuries to key players clear up for all teams.

Its a clean sheet of paper - with Arsenal Pool & Chelsea looking strong - West Ham result could go either way.

I'm not excluding us as I have seen nothing that makes me confident yet.

I think the Saints as well, they have sold the core of their team. Although I'd laugh my ass off if the beat the red mickies on Sat

Heart says West Ham but my head says Burnley. Few if any of Burnley's squad screams Premier League quality to me.
