I pawned an expensive tag watch (my 16th birthday present) to go Bolton away when we lost 6-1 (or was it 6-0) in the cup game, it pissed down all night. Then broke down in the car on the M1 and called Danny baker on 606 to SOS a help to anyone coming down to tow us.... It worked!!!

Bunked work was a big effort last year for CL games away.

Oh and telling the worlds biggest fib to an ex once to go Arsenal semi at Old Trafford instead of shopping before her birthday and then being seen on TV....

One more! Turned down grandstand tickets and pit passes for the British Grand Prix (couple of mates work for McLaren) to watch a Tottenham XI play my home team Fleet Town in a pre-season friendly in 2005.

Couple of years back we had United at home same day as my mate's wedding. Left the church at 'I do' ran to the car, changed en route, went to the game, lost 3-1, changed back and made the last couple of hours of the reception.
