Maybe its a hangover from my time spent posting on GG where they are jokingly nitpicky about this kind of thing with their match threads (I haven't posted there in years and don't even have an account on their latest forum so lets not discuss GG vs SC etc)
Anyway before the West Ham game I came on here to read team news etc, and noticed the match banner on the front page
note the worried look on Jan's face, and Noble running off in celebration. It felt like we had given them a goal head start when I saw that image. I saved the image thinking to make a silly thread if the worst happened, but forgot about it (I think we all wish we could forget that game) until logging on tonight and seeing the image created for the Man City game
Aguero celebrating, Walker and Sandro definitely not celebrating, look like they are getting organised at a defensive free kick
Granted there is no proof these images have any effect on our performance, but this is one silly thing I am superstitious about, and it seems like a fairly harmless request to make of whoever creates these images for each game, so my simple request is please could we ensure not to use images of our opponents celebrating goals for the match threads
The way we are playing right now I think this is a worth a try, who knows, this might even turn our season around
Yours hopefully,
CAPO
