This could go one of four ways!

I don't think there has ever been a season where the final games of the season could go one of FOUR ways for our beloved Spurs.

Best case scenario: We win, Arse lose, Newcastle win = We are third and Arsenal miss out on CL football. This would be unbelievable! I would love to see those Gooner faces!

Next best: we win. Arse draw or lose but newcastle only draw or lose = we finish above the scum (at last) but they still have a very good chance of getting CL football but it will be them sweating on the chelsea v bayern match. Still there will be jubilant scenes in N17!!!!

The most probable scenario: we win or draw but Arsenal win and finish above us and Newcastle can't beat our result and we finish 4th. This wil create a very strange atmosphere at the lane I think. Yes we have achieved what we set out at the beginning of the season. But what a massive opportunity missed and it's us relying on Bayern to do the business to give us CL football next season.

Worst case scenario: Newcastle beat Everton we only draw or lose to Fulham and the Goons do the business. This could quite possibly be the worst day of my life (since lasagnagate) and there could well be a second Riot in Tottenham in less than a Year!!!!

Has there ever been a final game of the season like it??! Unbelievable!!

As long as we win to secure 4th I'll be satisfied, anything else will be a bonus.

Your welcome!!

I know it's obvious but my point was that I don't think there has ever been anything like this. Normally there are two outcomes but we have 4 this sunday!

I think that this is our most important home game in terms of an end result since the Uefa cup final in 1984. Anyone think of any game more important at home since?

what worries me is under H when we have played a game where we absolutely needed a win in that 90 minutes for a massive prize we have generally lost....bar man city (a) for 4th in 2010..

the FA CUP semi v Portsmouth still kills me, i mean Portsmouth ffs!!!..

we just dont win when we really need to....its a fuckin curse or something cos you can almost guarantee it!!!!!

Unfortunately this is what scares me as it is partly true, being a Spurs fan when the media think we are going to do well we normally fall flat on our faces

Boy have the last 20 years been brutal at times

tottenham hotspur of 2012 are a bunch of bottle jobs, i can only see a draw at best. but i dont expect newcastle or even arsenal to win so it could be an odd one

Sorry, slightly off topic but - I love that game soooo much. Was only 10 at the time and living in weymouth, so to see a guy I'd watched in the crappiest of crappy non-leage grounds, pop up in the box to stab home the equaliser is something I'll never forget. (had my first ever beer that night too - 1664 - Thanks Dad.)

An early goal at the Lane would help settle things at the Lane....:x We can't be looking at other results, we need to focus on our game and make sure we don't slip up, we don't slip up we get 4th guarenteed.
