Its a shame that all of his press conference and pre post match stuff will be taken up with being asked about the Super League
If i was him i would just say that's not my issue to think or concentrate on and he has a job to do. End of

What a position he finds himself in? The club and players, and fans, all have this cloud of doom hanging over them. It’s been a tough year for everyone. The football has been boring and negative, players fearful of mistakes and worrying too much about the opposition. If he can get them feeling good, maybe a more possession based game to get our quality players on the ball, while also easing the pressure on the defence, and build or fix some relationships, then I think we could see a very different team with the actual same players. Southampton at home the day after he’s announced for the rest of the season. Then a bloody cup final at Wembley against Pep and Man City for his second game, literally no one expects us to win, but if he does??!! WOW... I mean, after his personal struggles, you couldn’t write this for the lad. I can say lad cos he’s 10yrs younger than me too. Mental. Proper heart felt good luck to him. He’s also played with a lot of our current players, so I would assume there will be mutual respect there.

With what happened to Mason with his injury this is really brilliant for the lad, very happy for him to be given this chance until the end of the season. He's a Spurs fan, he knows the Spurs DNA. Chris Powell is a good experienced coach. After the cup final and with all the ESL shit going on there isn't much to play for anyway now so lets hope Mason just gets us trying to actually keep the ball and play some decent stuff we can enjoy watching for a few games.

Agree with all of that except Ryan isn’t a Spurs fan

Only in the same way that as a young kid Harry Kane had an Arsenal top on. Mason joined us as an 8 year old, and spent the majority of his career with us. If you hear him speak he says we are his club. He is definitely a Spurs fan now, so why try and make out something negative?

Yeah 100%. I hope they have a press officer today or whatever they're called saying they'll be taking no questions and just let Ryan answer football stuff.

Good luck to Mason and the newly appointed coaches.
Lets hope the players get together and discuss the way forward and show unity and solidity.

I just hope he picks the right players ans not out of sympathy or pressure.

Be the man Mason

I'd be amazed if the journalists are allowed to ask about that. They'll be a statement at the beginning saying Ryan cannot answer any questions about this as he knows nothing about it and is an interim coach as an emergency.

I wasn’t trying to make out anything negative - I was just pointing out that stating he is a Spurs fan is incorrect - I am 100% behind him and can’t wait for Wednesday

Out of interest who does/did he support? A google search bought up nothing.

No idea if I'll even still be a Spurs fan next season. I tell you what though I'm going to forget everything and enjoy cheering on Mason for the next few weeks. I hope this really works for him.

Two or three good results and people will be calling for him to be given the job full time.

SC *click* high five
I’ve just put a tenner on him at 10/1.
On sky bet, if an interim manager is in charge for 10 competitive games, then they pay out.
He’s guaranteed 7, and if manages the first 3 of next season - kerching!

considering we may now struggle to attract a new manager, thought it was worth the punt
