He has a great chance to be an excellent coach. Was the wrong time for him to be interim coach but he did ok as a fill in. Curious to see how he’d do actually implementing his own ideas and what he has learnt rather than just trying to plug the gap.

Honestly, I hated that period of time we were under his management and resented him for, in my opinion, preventing Lamela to at least lift a trophy with us (I think I actually cared more about that than about us winning a trophy ?), but I'm actually feeling happy for him right now and do hope he ends up having a successful career in football management or whatever it is he wants to do with his career/life.

As much as I don't really like Jake Humphrey that much I'll give this a listen. Eric Dier did an episode on this a year or so ago too which was really good.

I listened earlier today and have been meaning to dig out his thread to comment on it, so thanks for doing the hard work.
I thoroughly recommend listening. Few thoughts/reflections:
- smashing fella, properly nice/good guy
- hadn’t realised quite how elite his mentality
- not often heard people who work in football speak so passionately about their club. He bleeds spurs.
- I am convinced he’ll make a great coach/manager, and actually have some conviction we could see more of him at spurs. I’d forgotten how much impact he made ‘post Jose’
- I’d heard the conte story (visiting him in hospital) but a few other comments a made me reflect on Conte as being a decent human, not only who we get annoyed with for decisions and his interviews
- I sensed he’d love to work with Poch, but is so focused he’d learn from anyone
- no mention of Nuno 🤣

loved it! Love him!

also didn’t know that he technically died that day, knew it was serious but didn’t realise how close it was.

Speaks so eloquently, reminds me of Hugo the way he speaks.

His positive energy, his belief in himself and his ability, he's going to be a fantastic coach when the time is right for him.

Fantastic listen.

It was a good listen. Nice to hear about his mental attitude and how important his family is to him. Think it sounds like he’s happy to be at spurs for awhile yet before looking into management

I really want him to manage us one day, and do brilliantly. I can’t even begin to express how I want it to happen for him.

Very interesting. He's certainly an optimist. He mentioned our players fitness could be improved when he took over from Jose. Maybe that explained why we sat deep and were generally passive. I wish Ryan well and wonder whether he will stay after the next management shuffle

Was reported Jose expected the players to do their own fitness work and maintain their fitness, as far as I remember anyway.
