Hard to judge him at the min. Personally I think he may of moved to a 3 in midfield to stop us conceding more and shattering the players again 3-1 at the time was respectable from where we were. Shame about the silly mistake for their winner, but tbh this game was always going to be about did we have any fight.
Lucas hasn't scored in like 30+ appearances and playing at RWB isnt likely to be in the box to win headers anyway. That's my point. If you bring Lucas on in the last few minutes when you need a goal, you have another aerial threat when we inevitably start sending balls into the box. And tbf to Mason, we scored from a header at the end.
Been saying all year that half the problem with Son's performances are down him playing deep with his back to goal rather than just form.Don't know why people seem to think moving to 3 in CM is a defensive move. What it did was allow Son to get in closer to Kane where he prefers to play, give a bit of a shield in front of Dier and Romero (which is defensive), but also allow Skipp and Hojbjerg to get amongst it a lot more in midfield instead of just chasing around trying to put out fires the whole time. It allowed us to take the game to them. The mistake (again) was starting with a pivot versus a CM3.
See, this is so much important than winning and losing, our team needs to be our family, or it’s all meaningless bollocks. He cares, ergo I care.Whatever happens in the summer, I’m so glad that Mason is Spurs and he can be really proud

Porro's scored like 2 in 8 and has a fantastic cross. He's just a much better option at RWB if you want to score or assist a goal IMO.
Give him more than three days and a style of play me become apparentThe Mason calls are premature and unfounded.
He has however done a solid job over the last couple of games.
For those that are calling for Mason, can I ask you what his 'footballing philosophy is' or his tactical preferences?
And if you're still not sure what they are, why you would still want him to have the job?
Maybe but he conducts himself so well and deserves the chance to impress. The Mason calls are premature and unfounded.

He's the best option for the last few games. I'd be stunned if Levy took a chance on giving him the role though.Maybe but he conducts himself so well and deserves the chance to impress.
I would be too. He's the best option for the last few games. I'd be stunned if Levy took a chance on giving him the role though.
It would be nice to think that everyone would.I would be too.
I'm all in on Naglesmann and if not him I'd love a de Zerbi, Kompany or Slot but I'd be fully behind Mason.
After the unrest and arguing of the past year I reckon that the fear of the fanbase kicking off is really going to go against him.It would be nice to think that everyone would.
Fuck me, that's the language of a solicitor or a ppolitician, I want no part of that in my club. The Mason calls are premature and unfounded.

Dude, he started insinuating the players weren't good enough for him shortly after he signed. Pretty sure you can find comments supporting that from interviews and press conferences after most of our losses. Just because he wasn't as extreme as after the Southampton game, it doesn't mean he didn't talk down the players before that. And even if he didn't, a great motivator would never end up speaking like that anyway.Beautiful baseless arguments, gotta love them.
Yeah it's been noticeable how much better he has looked last 2 games by simply being played to his strengths.Been saying all year that half the problem with Son's performances are down him playing deep with his back to goal rather than just form.
Today high up and on the shoulder he looked world class again (admittedly against a v.high line which is perfect for him).
Good to see Mason act upon that and use him where he's most effective.
