This is great. It's like New Years Day on tv when messages flash across the world - Australia , Hong Kong , South America, USA ,UK, Belgium, Sweden, Phillipines, Malaysia, Canada ,Bulgaria, Switzerland, South Africa . Imagine what will happen if we win the Premiership one day...

All goes to show that we are on a par with Liverpool and manchester United(both excl Asia) for support worldwide. We are a big club and shame supposed others.

I can confirm you guys that we have the third largest fan base here in Thailand behind only ManUsa and Liverpuddle. Although Arsehole and Chelscum have picked up the number recently, we are still firmly in 3rd. We had kept relatively quiet until that big Sunday though.

I think that you can safely add Cyprus to that list too from speaking with friends and family.

Maybe i am a bit of a woos (if that's how you spell it) but i'm finding this thread quite emotional!!!

To know that this one club, that has been through really dark days in the past, has such a binding effect on so many people worldwide makes me so proud. I keep telling people (my young sons included) how huge this club is and how all we need is some sustained success to make people (other than spurs fans) realise and understand this.

I hear the rumblings of a giant awakening!!

Not quite on same subject but watched the spurs Ar5ena1 game in brussels, Couple of obvious spurs fans no scum fans. Although the whole place seemed happy with the thrashing handing out to them. My chelsea supporting boss made sure to call his scum fan mate after every goal :) Dissapointingly his phone was turned off after the 4th

Was in Paris for the prague game, made our way into a private function to watch the game :) few spurs in there but no obvious prague fans.

I have Turkish friends in Istanbul who support Besiktas and I have occasionally taken them to games at Spurs and they have firmly taken Spurs as their English team. They were watching in Spurs shirts in a bar in Istanbul and apparently celebrated the win as if Besiktas had won a cup.

I also heard a journalist from Spain on Talksport last night saying that the Spanish are now taking great interest in Spurs (because of ramos) and that we are becoming very popular with the Spanish.

So glad to see that we are making an impact on the world stage, considering we've never been in the Champions League, it's quite amazing. Having grown up within 10 miles of WHL it makes me proud to know we're so global considering we've had little success lately.

I watched it in a pub here in Shanghai - there were no obvious CHelski fans, but at least 15 - 20 Spurs joining in choruses of 'Yid Army', to the bemusement of the Chinese staff. We then proceded to dance about deleriously and hug random strangers at the final whistle - it was night to remember, and a hangover to forget! ;-)
