I'll set the scene.......
8:30 - 9:00 on the morning tickets go on sale to Bronze members. I open my browser, login to the website and wait patiently for the 'Ring of Laughability' to complete it's 360°, 30 min tour, only to find it gets stuck at 355°, 2 mins to go.
'Please do not refresh your browser otherwise you will lose your place in the queue' is the message. So I wait, and wait, and wait and come nearly 10 o'clock......SORRY, SOLD OUT!
WTF, WTF, WTF, WTF.

This has now happened on the past 3 occasions. Anybody with a better know how on how to jump the queue, please get in touch.

Get on there earlier, and open the page on a couple of different browsers or devices and you should be okay. Also, you're more likely to have luck on the Tuesday mornings tickets go on sale to Lilywhite members because only 1,000 are released on the Monday and they go very quickly.

I missed out on Arsenal tickets on the bronze members day only to spawn one the next day during the Lilywhite release so don't loose hope!

As its been said, get on real early on multiple browsers and you might be luckier!

Missed out on United tickets because of this. Because I'm fucking working I don't have time to be on there at 8:30 am!

The timing is far from ideal it has to be said but I imagine the Club thinks the load on the servers would be even more ridiculous if they moved it to going on see during an evening or weekend. Plus that'd also mean either bringing in ticket office staff outside of their normal shifts or stopping anyone who can't use the online system easily from getting tickets.

That's the other thing to do - leave a phone line open to the ticket office too if you can. Sometimes the queue for this is shorter and it obviously bypasses the online systems, although there is a slightly bigger booking fee. Or if you live within easy travelling distance of the ground and have the time available, pretend it's the 80s again and just rock up at the ticket office in person.

I've never tested it, I'm not sure how early you can actually "queue" for the tickets, but I think I was on over an hour before hand for Arsenal tickets.

This has made me nervous for Dortmund come Wednesday morning (don't work Wednesdays so that isn't an issue). Fingers crossed I can get them.

I always used to get in the queue at 9.10 and without fail would get on the site about 9.32. That may have changed this season but previously that's what I did.

People having more than one browser open are the very reason the system is so shit.

Same shit happened to me for United game. Thought I was in the queue, but it got to like 10.30 and I was like nah this can't be right. Opened in another browser and I got straight through to seat selection! Weren't many left so now I've paid quite a lot for not such a great seat.

What I've learnt for next time, as people have mentioned, is to open the site in different browsers to avoid sitting there thinking you're in the queue when it's actually frozen. Lilywhite release also seems to give better seating options as only 1,000 are released for Bronze.

People having more than one browser open are the very reason the system is so shit.

No, it's shit because the system is completely outdated, the servers lack the capacity to handle any reasonable demand and the queueing system is broken and more down to pot luck than how early you get there. People having more than one browser open is just the sympton - if it worked in the first place and operated as, y'know, a queue where you got access in line with the time you logged on then there wouldn't be any point would there? But having queued up for the Man United tickets using Chrome, Edge and Internet Explorer, only IE actually got on there. Just to test it since nearly all the seats had gone by then anyway, I left Chrome and Edge in the queue after I'd purchased. I returned a few hours later. I was still queueing.
So come tomorrow morning you guys suggest more than one browser open?
Definitely. And if none of them get on by ten or at the latest half past, try opening a new tab and going in from there - it might be that there isn't even a queue and you can get straight in because the system has bugged out and left others stuck in a queue to nowhere. Again.
