I'm waiting for West Ham tickets to go on general sale...am I wasting my time?

Will any be available?

Am I better off ringing the club to buy or going through the e-ticket system?

Any help would be massively appreciated

Yes, you're probably wasting your time. If you're not a member though, you don't have any other option so you may as well try. I would suggest going via the online ticket system the second they go onsale, if they do. If you're a member, keep an eye on the ticket exchange, a ticket can come up anytime, night or day up to two hours before KO

No point really mate, i havent been able to get a ticket from the club for the last two seasons for a prem game. On the otherhand i havent had a problem seeing them at away games, but sitting at the home end (L'pool, west ham x 2, Man u, villa).

:-| Doesn't look good for my chances of getting a ticket for stoke then...

Went on the site last Thursday with the slim hope of getting a ticket for the NLD (I know..I know...pointless). Checked and there was limited availability. Continued and it was still showing availability..ticket available for £78. Clicked on purchase 1 ticket, but apparently that number of seats was not available together.

This left me disappointed and very confused. A bit like my experience of the 4th Indiana Jones film, except without the crying and shouting prior to being ejected from the cinema.

I hate George Lucas.

I have a lilywhite membership now but I was able to get a ticket for the next home game against Bolton when they were on general sale in December/January. I've also got tickets before in the past without one hotspur membership. You might not get tickets for the west ham game because it's a derby but you shouldn't have any trouble getting tickets against the lesser teams.

Yeh i should have added when i had bronze membership it was easier to get tickets, but i didnt bother renewing because paying ~£30 to see maybe 2 games a season wasnt really worth it. The last games I got general sale tickets to were Pompey and Wigan at the lane, and Chelsea in the fa cup (maybe 3 years ago?).

Funnily enough I went to the utd game at OT in the carling cup last season, and have been getting emails/txts very regularly from them saying tickets are available at OT. . . We are in an enviable position:beer:

I've been trying to get Blackpool away tickets. It seems daft that the club aren't offering some sort of swap system as I'm sure there must have been quite a few people who bought tickets when they thought it was going to be on the weekend - and who now won't be able to make it as it's a midweek night, far, far from home! But I couldn't have gone to the first date and am now keen to go as it's in half term. But how to get a ticket ??

Thanks for the feedback, people. Just gonna have to log on and hope for the best on Thursday AM. They are my 30th birthday present and I'll be gutted if I miss out.

Is it any easier to get fa cup tickets? I'm eyeing up a home tie on weekend of march 26th when/if we beat Fulham

Right people, need a favour...if any of you are bronze or lilywhite members or above, and currently have access to the tickets for the West Ham game, could someone please check and see what the availability is looking like, and also, what sort of price we're talking? Not fussed where I sit, I'll sit on the roof if I have to, but me and the wife will need to sit together.

Massive thanks in advance if anyone has a look.

I've just been on actually mate. Unsurprisingly, there's not much left. It does look like you can get two together in the East or West stand at the moment - but you're looking at £67.50 each.

Maybe a new stadium would make things a bit cheaper...

Thanks very much for that, at least I know what I'm looking at now.

Protip - unsold away fans tickets get released a couple of weeks before the game. So even if a game looks sold out on one day, the next you might find some for sale. Atmospheres a bit weird thoug, usually get a lot of tourists around you..

Thanks for that. Would be worth a punt but I've gotta sort accomodation, book time off work, sort out dog-sitting, etc, so need to do it asap.

I've kinda resigned myself to the fact that I'm not gonna see the West Ham game, but I shall log on and try. Stoke on the 9th of April looks more promising (really didn't wanna watch those cloggers come and park the bus, but beggars can't be choosers)

Awww, that's proper kind of you. Thanks anyway. There are some extremely nice people on this site.

The dog is staying in Plymouth with the mother in law. Currently have fingers crossed that Wilson doesn't get flogged, as the dog is named after him...!

It was so much easier to get ticket when we were shite! :bang: :violin:

Try a couple of days before the game on the ticketexchange. Usually have a fair few late returns.

Would love to wait that long chief, but like I said I've got accomodation etc to arrange too. Plus the fact that I'm one of lifes great worriers/panickers...I'd be a mess waiting that long.
