Tim Sherwood may have already been proven wrong about one of Tottenham's January deadline day arrivals, after his return from injury against Everton.

I don't know what Sherwood said, haven't clicked on the piece, and I still know the headline's right.

"Bentancur [] gives the ball away more than he keeps it, and when he keeps it, he goes square and backward"

I think he has been very positive in his passing, but we have to admit that he has coughed the ball up on occasion, and in dangerous positions. Technically he is very good, but so was Ndom....
It is too early to judge how this will work out.

Sherwood is generally wrong. Total bullshitter with little knowledge. Still hard to believe we made him manager.

You're not wrong. But he's not even half a dozen games into PL/English football, after coming from the oh so slow, and much more defensive minded Italian League.

He's shown more than enough for us to have a bit of belief that we've got ourselves a player.

Simplest way of looking at it = Him or Winks in your midfield?

I'm not interested in bashing the unquestionably annoying Winks, or any other player we have. But if Bentancur offers a better alternative than any player in our squad, nothing else matters as far as I'm concerned.
