and no need to subscribe to FSC+ anymore for $15 a month for two standard def games a weekend

I put on FSC to watch SSN last week and realized they basically only show CL repeats and "Gold Cup Classics" now, since that's pretty much all Fox has the rights for anymore. That and the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, sadly, when they will inflict Gus Johnson back on us.

They will switch FSC over to something else won't they. And I think they will have the Dutch league next year. When CL gets renewed (NBC or ESPN will get it - maybe beIn), they will then be out of the business. Great legacy but some colossal fuck ups to get them here.

Anyways, It'll be nice to be able to see every Spurs game on a decent quality stream at least. They'll be everywhere. Wahoo!

Yeah FSC is becoming Fox Sports 1 next month, where they'll have what's left of their portfolio from FSC/Setanta plus other sports they've got the rights to. Getting the world cup rights and then losing the premier league shortly thereafter must have been a real disaster for them, because now they're stuck with the world cup 5 and 9 years out with no infrastructure or synergy for it. I can't imagine they're going to wrestle the rights back at the next renewal.

As much as I hate walking through Times Square I am absolutely going down there now just to see how it looks. This is huge exposure for us. Not just to New Yorkers, but to all the tourists from around the world that walk through every day.

Minor difference is that FSC will become a TMZ-like entertainment channel. SpeedTV/Fuel will become Fox Sports 1 and 2.

As a New Yorker born and bred, its sad to say that 7/8 of this town has no clue who he is or the skill the man has. But I will say this, great exposure for Spurs and HP.

This is good on many levels.
2) Under Armor and HP - just got massive free adverts. I bet they are feeling a bit better about their investment.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I can't imagine NBC chose that picture without having received compensation from Spurs, HP or UA in some way...

Apart from the mans clear immense talent this is exactly the reason why we should fight tooth and nail to keep this guy in a spurs jersey.

Maybe. I don't know how such things work.

But thanks for the wet blanket to put out my fire of joy. :shifty: ;)
