So who do we think Tim has placed on his shopping list?
After his latest interview he has apparently identified 4 or 5 players to Mr Levy, all with Premiership experience!

I've got a horrible feeling that Tim might end up staying on.
Zicomerc, that's a cracking list but would probably be more likely to be Milner, Lescott, A cole and Foster (Celtic GK)

Worries the hell out of me who he has put on the list.
Goalkeeper
Left back
Centre back
Winger
Striker

I would guess are the areas of improvement.

DL: So, Tim, you've identified 5 Premiership players.

TS: Yes, boss.

DL: And they are?

TS: Well the one with the funny voice is Stevie G, the one with the funny teeth is Luis Suarez, the one with the silly hat is Petr Cech, the one with the pretty hair is Bacary Sagna and the one who looks like a shaved monkey is Wayne Rooney.

DL: Hell's bells, Timmy, you want us to buy that lot?

TS: I don't want to buy them. I've just identified them. It's all part of my attempts to scout the opposition.

DL: [mutters inaudibly] And have you worked out who our boys are yet? Have you managed to suss out which one Etienne is?

TS: I'm still working on it, but I'll have sorted it by next season.

DL: (aside to Franco) Get me Van Gaal. Tell him we'll pay what he wants...

I would be looking at signing Lallana he is a class act and would do well at WHL.
You could build a half decent tea from players like that who look a bit useful for the team they play for but ain't what we need to take us to the next level if we were to sign them. cough-Dembele-cough

Always happy to be proven wrong. ;)

It seems that the media is suggesting we may bid for Lukaku or Benteke again. Both would cost around 20-25m.

I quite like the look of Deulofeu, totally different to Lukaku and Benteke obviously, but reckon he is one for the future. He's only 20 years of age and impressed me from the brief times I've seen him

It would be nice to have Eriksen, Lamela and Deulofeu all in the same team.

Full backs definitely need improving and Levy or Baldini need to work on there magic on getting a Modric type player, someone who sets the tempo from defence to attack, always available for a pass, and the heartbeat of our team. No pressure lads

Okay, I'm not a fan of Tim, but he is not a retard...

He must see the challanges of our Squad, and he knows you can't buy bent, Adam Johnson, lallana etc to succeed... If he stays( big if) I reckon some of you will be surprised...

If Tim stays on I get the feeling we will be signing 'Characters' from top Prem sides who's legs have gone, bit like the 90's.
Tim wanted both Isco and Eriksen, so I don't get this stuff about everyone acting like he is Harry(who also wanted players like Rossi, Hazard, Remy and etc.)

We clearly are lacking characters like a Gallas, VDV, King and etc.

Also people need to remember we need 8 homegrown players and at the moment for next season we have
Dawson
Siggy
Lennon
Fryers
Kane
Carroll
Naughton
Townsend
Rose
Walker

The first 3 will be sold. Townsend, Rose and Walker are likely to stay with the rest potentially being sold or loaned.

I think we may have to sign 3 Homegrown players

I bet that Caulker is at the top of that list.

This is what he said about him last month:

"He is a man," Sherwood said. "I mean that in the sense that even though he has been a kid, he has always been a man in stature.

"He knows what is right and wrong. He is willing to learn and he is willing to stand up for his beliefs. I like that.

"There are too many side-parting 'Smedley' kids about. It is good to have a character, someone who might be harder to manage but is a good player.

There's also a lot of other news in the press about Sherwood wanting Caulker back.
