He needs to loose weight. All these managers want to be gq cover models these days. He does look dapper but stick to the tracky poch unless a final.....or a sheepskin coat.
If you think he looks dapper then why do you think he shouldn't wear a suit?

So now we're getting a bit of a clearer picture of how a Spurs Manager/Head Coach/Levy Patsy should be.

He should…..

Not give too many interviews
Canvas SC as to what is and isn't acceptable to "say"
As above as to selecting a team
Speak perfect English, preferably in the accent of the old Pathe newsreels
Have won everything within the last 10 years
Done the above on no budget
Done the above with a team not expected to win everything
Be seen three times a week eating a bagel
And now wear a suit

But on the understanding that meeting all of the above criteria does not mean immunity from being branded a **** as SC will always find new ways of doing that :D

I also require he do a bit of trolling with his outfits. Need him to be pitchside wearing a fedora and a tux some time. Need it and needed it yesterday.

Also, need him to be pitchside wearing a leather jacket with a pink shirt and a single white glove if/when we play at fulham again(seriously though, that would be quality banter, even if the statue is no longer there. Kinda disappointed no one has done this yet, tbh. Be better, managers)

(y)

BTW, once Sherwood ends up back in the PL with newcastle or someone else, the first match between him and Poch, I expect to see Poch wearing a gilet with the track suit. Must be done. Honestly, this is my one requirement. Would probably incense people here. Head on a swivel, guys.:sneaky:

If the suit gives him the 'I mean business ' look
then why don't the team wear one too?
And not just on the team bus; on the pitch too.
I'm sure the new lightweight washable, breathable fabrics would work.

Isn't it simply to do with the days activities.

Saturday/Sunday - Match day. get up early, dress up in proper attire, continue that.

Weekday matches - he's been at the training ground, doing a bit of preperation, more relaxed, wears his tracksuit during the day, come match time, he hasn't been able to change, so sticks with the tracksuit....

If we have a game on a Friday does he get to come in in jeans and a t-shirt?

I'm undecided on this (like it actually matters people!).

Firstly, there's no way it affects team performance.

Part of me thinks it's ridiculous to put on a suit, stand on grass and shout at grown men chasing a ball around a pitch.

The other part of me thinks if you're the head coach of a multi-million pound football club, pulling in maybe 60k salary a week, you should probably look presentable and get suited and booted.

Personally, I would like to see Poch dressed as Condorman for every home game.......and King Leonidus (with helmet and shield) for away games.

No one should ever wear a tracksuit in public unless actively engaging in sport.

No one should ever wear a baseball cap unless partaking in baseball.

Suit for me. Alternatively, as suggested above, thong and bunny ears.

Especially since his tracksuit looks like it's been painted on him. Or maybe Levy wont buy new tracksuits before all of AVBs old ones are worn out.

What I would like to see is the team wearing suits or blazers when traveling before a game on the team bus..

Brian Clough use to wear a suit but changed to sweats just before kick off. That would do for me
