Yep, I've always liked the much maligned THudd, but it seems a change of scenery could do him well... not sure Hull is a great place to be with a shakey manager, but if he stays injury free that should mean unquestioned first team footie for him

Speculatively linked with Utd a couple if years after we sold Carrick to them. At least he will get regular game time now which he wouldn't have got this season, surprised Fulham didn't come in for him. Good luck Thudd!

Never lazy just never given a real opportunity since Jol left, injuries haven't been kind either.
I always liked Tom, you could see him smacking one in from the edge of the box every time he had space in front of him.
He saw some great players/managers come through and pass out of the doors at WHL, maybe he has been quietly learning more and more all these years and now, with a run of games, will push on and earn the plaudits that saw he compared to Hoddle.

Best of luck to him, I truly hope he shines and is adored at Hull.

He is just bitter. He is entitled to his opinion, but it is safe to say I disagree with him totally, and I think if you gave his new manager the choice between Tom Huddlestone or any of Holtby/Sandro/Paulinho/Capoue/Dembele/Siggy he wouldn't choose Huddlestone once.

Huddlestone does raise a very good debate, though. One that might not be best suited here, but possibly in Spurs Chat. The one in regards to not buying British talent but more so international talents. I won't touch that shit with a ten foot pole but I'm sure others would weigh in heavily.

I think it's definitely true that quality, young British players that can come in to a Top 4 competing side is few and far between. And, when there are some available, they are often overpriced.
