Yep, I've always liked the much maligned THudd, but it seems a change of scenery could do him well... not sure Hull is a great place to be with a shakey manager, but if he stays injury free that should mean unquestioned first team footie for him (y)

Best of luck big man and that goal against Man City will always be in the top 5 Spurs goals of the decade for me -- he makes the interception that starts he whole move at the top of Spurs box -- Thanks THudd!

Hey! You used my only footie related YouTube video!

Good luck to him! He needs a fresh start. No offence to Hull but sure he could have gone to a bigger club than them though.

Speculatively linked with Utd a couple if years after we sold Carrick to them. At least he will get regular game time now which he wouldn't have got this season, surprised Fulham didn't come in for him. Good luck Thudd!

Never lazy just never given a real opportunity since Jol left, injuries haven't been kind either.
I always liked Tom, you could see him smacking one in from the edge of the box every time he had space in front of him.
He saw some great players/managers come through and pass out of the doors at WHL, maybe he has been quietly learning more and more all these years and now, with a run of games, will push on and earn the plaudits that saw he compared to Hoddle.

Best of luck to him, I truly hope he shines and is adored at Hull.

Huddlestone does raise a very good debate, though. One that might not be best suited here, but possibly in Spurs Chat. The one in regards to not buying British talent but more so international talents. I won't touch that shit with a ten foot pole but I'm sure others would weigh in heavily.

I'll weigh in very quickly, we are buying quality at the moment, nationality doesn't matter. If there were more British players of that calibre i'm sure we would be interested, but as there are not we certainly do not need to weaken ourselves by buying and fielding inferior players.

Could someone please remind him of the amount of time he was injured whilst AVB has been here.

More to the point, can some please remind him how many players ran straight past last season, how many lax moments cost us/nearly cost us a goal and can someone please ask him to list 5 good performances for me please.

I think it's definitely true that quality, young British players that can come in to a Top 4 competing side is few and far between. And, when there are some available, they are often overpriced.

The last British player with the talent to really kick on and be great was Bale, or maybe Walcott depending how much you rate him.
