because we are not used to scoring 5 goals in a game :lol:

I am sure once we have a settled CB pairing things will improve. I thank any team would look nervous at the back if the two CB's were forever changing.

Stability will sort out that nervousness. I think at least anyway.

Because our defenders aren't actually great at defending. For different reasons.

Walker has tenacity and pace but doesn't seem that bright or technically assured. Dawson is great if you're tossing mortar bombs up in the air but starts to struggle when the opposition play football around him. Ekotto is technically a superb footballer and occasionally puts in a blinder but goes sleepies sometimes. Kaboul worries me least of that bunch. He has pace, is technically good, strong in the air, tenacious and pretty comfortable bringing the ball out at his feet. What worries me most is that Redknapp seems to rate Dawson more.

yeah thats a fair summary. I hope we do get a settled back 4 this year. I'd like to see a settled first team for the PL and the second string playing the cups and EL

All I saw was the highlights. I don't know how good Hearts are but we finally show what was lacking for the last 2 or so years - pace and creativity (some of the goals the lads scored tonight were spectacular IMO).

It does not matter how settled our defence is, its that huge gap betweed the midfield and the defence whats ours biggest problem
