He should come to Tottenham and form the best strike partnership ever with him then. :)

Torres/Berbatov would be the best strike partnership in the world. If I could pick any two strikers, regardless of age, to put on the pitch to win me one game. I'd pick them. Pace and grace.

Exactly, so he should come to Tottenham. :)

he was asked to comment on every top striker from the PL that has been linked to Barcelona, so it was inevitable he would comment on Berbatov

Is that the paper that is Barca's mouthpiece puppet?

Doesn't surprise me Torres would admire Berbatov, and they made him the headline. He's a player's player and a Manager's player. I think some fans - of all clubs, including the ones he's linked to - need some convincing.

Fernando & Berbs - dream combo. :hump:

Good observation!

If Barca decide to go for Berbatov they will try to "sell" him to Barca fans and will probably engage Stoichkov to this end. The problem for Barca is that the most popular strkers: Zlatan, Torres, Benzema etc. are not for sale at this moment and maybe they will go for the likes of Adebayor or Berbatov who are not that famous in Spain.

Though it looks like the Stoichkov joining the Barca coaching staff rumours were false.

can we get a translation?

My Spanish is, sadly, nowhere near as good as my French, which is nowhere near as good as I'd like it to be. However: Torres sees Tottenham's Dimitar Berbatov as having "a quality that often seems apathetic, anarchic, so that that the fans say that it seems that he does not run [work hard?], but he is an impressive player. It's a big compliment (??}" So, pretty much in line with how we see Berbs.
