Phew! We should be fine qualifying now. I never thought the group would be this tough, hopefully it's a good learning experience for the youngsters.

I'd say we were decent going forward, but a little rusty in defence. Vertonghen & Davies fell asleep for their equaliser; so much so that Vertonghen's reaction seemed to say he didn't know Ezequiel was behind him. Anderlecht just got the ball to Acheampong & tried him 1v1 against Trippier on their left.

Pleased we won, but can't help but feel we could have stepped up the intensity to close the game much earlier in order to give Kane, Lamela etc a break. Perhaps this weekend's exertions may have played on their minds, but I would much rather the team upped their effort & end the game earlier.

Pleased with the win & hopefully we have plenty in the tank to bear Arsenal.

Tough game but we pulled it off, however I still feel that Lamela is the weak link. He is still too lightweight and loses the ball far too much. I wouldn't include in the starting 11 away from Arsenal.

I gotta ask if you have watched us play this year?

I have yes ... Many. I do agree that he has improved a lot and really puts a shift in , I just think he is still making silly mistakes and either dithers on the ball or touches it too far forward in the final third...

maybe I just expected more because he is our most expensive ever signing ... I suppose it's not his fault
