Yea Clifford was there this guy is good but Chelsea the way they are he wont get a look in,was only reading an article about him monday and a lot of people at Chelsea are disappointed he was never givin the chance in the 1st squad this year he may be one to watch in the future,ps thats Conor Clifford the Captain

He's meant to be quality, a lot of people who have seen him play rave about him. Have seen a few of his goals, and people are comparing him to Lampard already. The fact that he's only young means he's got time on his side to break through, and if he makes it at Chelsea it'd be great for him and give Irish football a much needed boost, and a good CM!!

Much as we all respect him I'd say poor old Chris H will be sacked by Xmas so not sure if we want any of our youngsters going up there

Why do you think he will be gone by Xmas? I would say they could do well (survive) next season. Have seen them play loads as my mate is a Gordie, he is well impressed and doesnt want him to go anywhere.

Seems a fairly ignorant article - I can't see anyone there we are looking to "offload".

That was what I thought, as well.

Ye thats what I thought at first. Why the hell would we actively be looking to sell our youngsters? Then it goes on to talk about how we want to send them out on loan next season and saw this as a chance to put them on show for managers in the lower leagues.

Yeah, I read into it, just means that it is a poorly worded/sensationalist headline. So, we aren't lloking to offload any of our players in a game that was organised to advertise players we are looking to offload:shrug:

Which makes me wonder why Livermore, Rose, Jansson, Butcher or Button weren't given a role.

Good question, Bobs. 'There has been no indication that 'Arry is considering resurrecting the reserve team. It might mean absolutely zilch and he is more than happy for them to go out on loan; it might mean he is considering using them as back up for the first team squad next year.

Last word on that Mail article - ignorance shown by suggesting Livermore was being watched. They wouldn't have learned a great deal.

I really like the way our "reserve" stuff has been handled this year, particularly bringing the on-loan kids back for one-off games to keep them in the loop.

Would love Spurs to have a golden generation like Man U or even West Ham brought through.

So much harder when the first team is packed full of internationals and the reserve to that international is another international.

I guess the true gems will make their way through and hopefully the rest will go on to have successful careers elsewhere.

Be interesting to see if any of our youngsters get Championship or lower Premiership level loans this year and if so how they fare.

Sounds like Dean Parrett had a good game too, setting up a couple of goals. Whenever I read reports of games he's involved in, he always sets up goals, especially from free kicks! Nice.

Great to hear of the boys playing well. It will be interesting to see where they end up on loan next season.

Especially Bostock. Will he have learned not to act like a Big Time Charlie now?

Will Ryan Mason have bulked up enough to get a good season under his belt in the Championship?

Steven Caulker looks to have a bright future ahead of him. He could be THE one to watch. Where will he ply his trade next season?

Dean Parrett, will he get a loan spell somewhere higher than League Two Aldershot?

Andros Townsend is still an exciting prospect, and Danny Rose. Both vying for a place on the left somewhere...

Another good year for Harry Kane in the Under 18's, maybe someone will look to loan him in January (not even sure if he'll be 17 by then! so maybe not...)
