It's a lot different to what tim Sherwood said about us having only one world class player, what a tool , nothing like making players feel good, poch is a class act

Actually what he said was that we only had one or two who were automatic selections, and that the rest were all of a similar standard to one another, which had been true. In any case when Tim was first appointed coach he was a coach adamant that they were all great players and that we did not need to strengthen; it was only after he failed to get the performances he was hoping for from them that he began to change his tune. I am not commenting on the extent to which that failure was his or theirs, just pointing out that this is the honeymoon period and not a ball yet has been kicked in anger. So the comparison is unfair, as well as frankly unnecessary.

Whether you like or dislike Tim, it serves no helpful purpose to continually use him as a benchmark for discussing Pochettino's strengths and weaknesses. Move on.

Interesting that he has 'chosen' to start to speak English to the media now that he's at a more high profile club. By the reactions on here it seems to have warmed people to him... let's see how it goes when we go through a rough patch.

All this talk of training techniques, and hyper-fitness are all well and good. But it's ultimately down to how well the individual players respond to it. I guess one thing that it will certainly do is separate the actual footballers from the remaining "much of a muchness". That demand for the right blend of athlete and footballer is what they need after 2/3rds of season of "farking run araaand".

Let's not hope for an immediate impact and success. This season is going to be another journey of discovery for this squad.
