Tottenham Hotspur have held positive talks with the Football Association (FA) about playing their Champions League home matches at Wembley next season, according to a source close to the negotiations.

Why not just bite the bullet and play the domestic league and cup games there too. I wonder what the cost/benefit analysis would be. Bigger gates, more money, accelerated construction process against the hire costs. Plus the intangibles of having a constant home and not having to disappoint fans at the proposed capacity reduction mid-season. Might as well get used to the bigger crowds now. Not actually advocating this but just wondering how the pros and cons stack up.

Would hate for that Real game to be the last at the lane. Also think we would lose a big advantage. Arsenal went out in the groups when they did it
