So it is Watford or Guangzhou Evergrande! Watford sounds more glamorous.

Paulinho and Capoue going gives the money for a top level midfielder, Schneiderlin, Imbula or similar. That would be a huge boost, two unneeded players gone and a starting XI player in. Trimming the squad and improving the team at same time.

He is still a good player but just does fit in the PL same as bobby. Its not easy to fit in a fast pace league like england. We did buy the wrong players at the wrong time but if levy can get the amount the media are talking about then he must be knighted lol

The odd thing about Paulinho is that some managers seem to rate him. Scolari presumably knows a good player from a bad one, given he's won a world cup and more, but whatever Paulinho has we've not seen it at Spurs. Good luck to him, he's never complained but it's been so long and he's done so little I just hope this will happen for the player as much as the club.

If this deal goes through, it will be great for all parties. Grangzhou Evergrande gets a Brazilian, who can probably teach the Chinese a skill or two. The player sees a big boost in pay, and we get to a fee that seems out of reach only days ago. What's there not to like?

Fantastic bit of business done here by Mr.Levy, We will get our 17mil we paid for him originally, and another surplus to requirements player off our books. Pauli, has potential but so does Mr bean competing in a dance off... it just didnt work out for him at the lane, he seems happy enough to take a 96k per week salary in a low standard league... so good luck to him. Im sure he will do well with big Phil.
