Tottenham are confident of signing Swansea City defender Joe Rodon by Friday’s transfer cut-off. Tottenham are offering multiple formulas in a bid to get the deal over the finish line. These include a cash-only option, player-plus-cash as well as a potential loan back.

That last one seems odd if the assumption is that we're looking for a CB for the current campaign. Suggests that may not be.
