Any striker we sign, will have to be thoroughly vetted by Mitchell and Poch. as to his ability to be fast moving, strong on the ball (hold off defenders, like Kane / Ade) confident to keep going when struggling, (soldado) ability to see the pass to other players when they are in a better position (unlike defoe) . So as the game in Italy is a lot slower then PL, this player needs to show his ability, and for Poch. / coaches to improve his fitness to our high PL levels. We cannot afford to waste £'ms again !!

SerieA???
Whoopi fkin do.
I find the fact Baldini is still employed is unbelievable.
I mean, is it even possible to fk it up more than he has? To waste more money?
Would take some doing imo.
Another 13m on a SerieA player will help.
How does this Mitchell, Baldini, Poch thing work anyway?
Does it work at all?
Prob bullshit story anyway.

If this Zaza is approved by Poch. and scouts, we could P/X Pauli ..let him try his football in Italy, more suited to his style of play...

It don't matter who we sign because you know soon as they pull on our famous white shirts they'll become a crock of shit,I swear we could have Messi up front & we'd turn him into a turkey

Lets not get too excited, we could buy Messi or Ronaldo and they would suddenly be shit and a total waste of money. Look at Boobby 3rd best scorer in La Liga. WTF is it about Spurs are we jinxed!

If anyone has followed this transfer story from a few months ago, it's only been since Mitchell was employed. ZaZa has scored most of his 8 goals against the better sides and he's playing for a club that would not supply him the best service. If he was given better service most strikers would score more goals. But I also agree that right now, any transfer seems scary given our history.

It'll be interesting to see what a Mitchell signing looks like, Baldini, Levy and possibly Pochettino having been found wanting in that area.

Pochettino describes the attributes he wants in a player, Mitchell identifies targets who fit the profile, Baldini schmoozes their owners and Levy signs the cheque. Easy.

I can see Poch. Mitchell and Levy working as a team now, (Baldi out the door) so all levy has to do is work out the transfer payable / terms once they have decided the player is acceptable to Poch. plans for next season.

As Levy has spent £100m + last 2 years... It would not surprise me if we hear that Poch had to submit a squad strategy / plans for next season, (update his plans from last year's job interview) before Levy buys anyone. This is basic business practice for any SME / corporates, and Levy is a sharp business guy....
