From the Beeb:
The last time Tottenham began a Premier League campaign with a London derby was in 2014-15 - they won 1-0 at West Ham in Mauricio Pochettino's first game in charge.

Who’s going to be Ange’s Eric Dier?

I’m only pissed off that we are away both opening day and final day - and of course that means the scum are home on both days. How is that fair?

Seen people complaining that we're away on Boxing Day.... I'm celebrating as that's normally a cause of arguments in the Aliyid household.

Bet he still wears his Spurs training shirt in private :cautious:

I wish Ange all the best as boss, but still so sad that one of our best bosses in recent years is now in charge of… them…

We start and end away from home I always thought it's one or the other.
So did I but can't find anything to that effect anywhere so I think they've changed the rules.

You can't finish with 2 home or 2 away though but I'm sure that's always been the case too.

That's happened in previous seasons.
2016-17 v Everton (a) v Hull (a)
2015-16 v Man Utd (a) v Newcastle (a)
14-15 v WHU (a) v Everton(a)

However, in 2011-12 the fixtures were published with us due to play Everton (h) as the first match, finishing with Fulham at home. The riots in Tottenham that August saw the Everton match postponed so we started at Man Utd.

2011-11 Opening game Man City (h). Final match Birmingham (h).

We don't know what requests the club submitted to he PL regarding the venue for those particular matches, especially now with their eye on obtaining lucrative concerts at the stadium in early summer.

i mean we have Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool + tricky away games at Bournemouth, Burnley and Brentford in our 1st 7 games. Not easy that.
