What IS the plan this season? Does anybody really know?

Are we going to keep starting a second rate CB in defensive mid?

Or replace him with Wanyama who has not yet convinced whenever he’s come back from his many injuries.

Or maybe winks, unproven at this level if we’re being honest, and is coming back from a year out?

And Dembele? Who can’t start every game, and creates fuck all going forward.

And then there’s Sissoko. But that’s it.

Levy is responsible for the shambles in the summer, so it’s harsh to blame Poch for being confused.

Also, I’m sorry but Moura won’t make it here as a starter. He can be devastatingly quick, a brilliant individual, but not dynamic enough to dictate the team performance week in week out.

Get Kane out of the team and a front 3 of Moura/Son/Lamela and it all looks different for me.

Kane is dictating our performance and our outfield play up top matches him. Dire

Moura should be the first name on the sheet.

I'd rather not bother play Kane for the next few personally. Rather lamela or son, think the overall play is worth more right now

And no more dier please. Other than that the season looks like more of the same, semi final at best and anything between 6th and 3rd

I'd be tempted to do that to. Get that fluidity we had from Bournemouth onwards back. Since Kane returned our forward play has been very patchy. I was holding on to the fact he normally needs a few games to get back into it but it's clear there's something in it. Rest him for a few games.

The players would have actually tried at that game. At the moment they look like they couldn’t give two shits.

Kane needs a wake up call. The poorest performance from him I have ever seen. He needs to be honest to everyone if he is really feeling the fatigue, he should have backed off for the best of the team.

But we have no one to replace him with so he keeps getting played Mr levy decided that we needed no one so that is that.

A lot of pundits are going to look at our lack of spending spree and say 'I told you so' And its not hard to see why. I don't think that there was anything clever in taking that road. I think our performances are beginning to show that.

I thought the Utd game was going to be something to push on from with confidence, the opposite has occurred, I've not seen us so nervous, sloppy and lacking in confidence these last two games. Not sure what's gone on but it's just odd.

We need to sort it out sharpish otherwise we won't get out of CL group or be playing CL at new stadium next season.

Moura was our only bright spark up front, although Kane wasn't given any good ball into the box to attack. Didn't really show anything until Lamela & Son came on.

I know what old dermot will say on ref watch. The ref saw the ball change direction so thought mane made good tackle. Would have been a pen with VAR.

There's nothing I hate more than hyperbole.

We have played worse in a lot of games under Poch. I'm not excusing this performance, we were sloppy to the extreme, made tons of unforced errors and didn't take the game to them at all in the last 15 minutes when we should be pressing, pressing, pressing. But if this is the worst you've seen you haven't seen many games.

Tell me a worse performance when there has been something on it ?

Poch needs to stop being a smartass with changing the formation in every single game. 3atb, 3CMs. Shit needs to stop and be put on hold.

1 GK, 4 defenders, 2 CMs, 3 AMs and a striker. Get back to basics with our starting 11. Poch is tinkering way too much.

Honestly feel like we lose everytime we try to play it safe. The thinking this game was probably that he was too afraid of Liverpool, so that’s why we started with Winks, Dembele and Dier. Unfortunately Poch forgot that you actually have to pass it forward in football.

Totally agree poch has to go back to basics, I said so before the match that we are chopping and changing formations and players way too much
