Probably should've been off ages ago based on what he's done but he alwats pops up with something, just not today

We really need to sort out defence out. Been poor all season.
Starting Trippier, Dier and Davies is fine against a team like Juventus. That's more of a tactical match where their lack of athleticism won't hinder them like it will in a match like this one. I don't think it's a problem with our players today but a problem with Poch tactics.

Son, Lucas, Aurier, Rose and Wanyama should have all started this match. This isn't a tactical match at all. Everybody knew both teams would press & run and go right after each other this match. We simply don't have the athletes on the pitch to contend with City. They've been running circles around us the entire match. Liverpool do and that's why they've been successful against them.

Wrong 11 from Poch today, and he MUST get the 11 right next Sat v Utd, as play like this we will lose.

Yes City are good but remember last Sun when Utd beat them

Huge game on Tuesday too as lose that and doubt will really creep into this team

I think we all bought into the narrative that City were there for the taking. We have not acquitted ourselves well at all today, I'm afraid.

If we are ever to win something we have to wise-up. Keep things tight, frustrate City. Instead we start with a half-press which leaves gaps all over and allows City to pick their gaps. Even Liverpool were wiser defensively than that.

Last time we lost to City we went on a tremendous unbeaten run. Same again will do just nicely. Big week ahead.

Underscores the need for a big drive in the transfermarket this summer - there's still plenty of room for improvement

First loss in the PL this year, against by far the better opposition is not too shabby in my mind.

Sometimes you just have to man up and accept the best team won, and today that was the case.

Why we wait until the 71st minute to bring on Lucas is beyond me, you can see he wants to take guys on, Poch dropped the ball on selection with no Son or Lucas to start.
Agree. The only team that really caused City problems in the PL was Liverpool with the pace of Salah and Mane. We omitted pace from our starting eleven.
