This was one of the hardest matches to watch in recent memory based on performance.

It was also one of the best feeling wins of the season, therefore i couldn't give a shit even if I tried. COYS

It’s not completely out of the question that United could lose their final two games while they’ve got one eye on the FA Cup. Unlikely but there’s a slim chance. God, just imagine if we came 2nd.

I don't think most people aside from Spurs fans understand how huge playing 19 neutral venue games and finishing in the CL spots is. Nearly everyone was expecting us to drop out, especially after no wins in the first three Wembley games, but we held on.

Regardless of the dip in performance after the cup semi that is something well worth celebrating.

Not to mention the Wembley Hoodoo!!! C***s!

Huge accomplisment to finish in the top 4. At the beginning we were all skeptical and was thinking 5 or 6 because of Wembley, but the boys have done it, and it will take such a weight off their shoulders aswell. Bringing CL football to the new stadium was so important for our future, and now we have done it!

Kind of like 7-Up is the "Un-Cola", we could be the "Un-legends!"

Pointless at this point but...the decisions made by the referee today were incredibly suspect. The blatant shove on Jan in the first half was utterly disgraceful. Chelsea
Ah well, fuck 'em all. Were the best team in London.

I heard the ref gave Chelsea corner at the end of the first half - Willian put the ball in place to take it then the ref blew the half time whistle

I've annoyed many females in my time due to this never happening to me.

I am fairly sure many pundits and fans were predicting Wembley to cost us and predicted we'd be proper mid table.

It has been a long season. I also think that when your team plays exceptionally well in the Champs League, League and in a cup, it's more disappointing when you get knocked out or struggle to finish as high as you did the season before. Than say, if you went out in the group stages or were knocked out of a cup early on. The expectation builds and therefore the disappointment is greater (understandable). I think Spurs have had an amazing season, all things considered, with injuries galore to key players and ground displacement.

I love my club.

I doft my cap to Pochettino. Damned good year sir.

This. That pitch too has taken it's toll on the players, it's been such a slog and the players deserve so much credit to have got the job down.

However, that could have been avoided slightly had we brought in another CM like we should have done. We've been without Wanyama and Winks for the majority, whereas we know Dembele's situation. Poch has every right to demand TWO new CMs and he can use this season has proof for this.

If you get a late chance to kill the game, who do you fancy Alli or Moura? I know who I'd prefer, also Alli was coming central on the defensive, we needed to stay compact. I don't think Moura would have offered that.
Its more than that, once we went up, Alli is good at game management, he is good at playing the ball in corners and slowing things down.

His problem today, was what was behind him was so slow and he was trying to do things super quickly which meant he just kept losing the ball to a well organised Newcastle, but it was hardly different to what was happening to Son and Kane as well. Alli is still a kid and he is had a good season, I think fans often expect too much of him that often they don't recognise even when he does do well because the expectation is too high.

Sometimes though its just because a large number of people on this site do not seem to actually pay attention to what is happening in the game. I don't know if its the habit of playing with mobile phones and things during games or just people taking more notice of highlightsesc kind of football. The number of times you see people complement a good tackle or clearance as good piece of play without noticing that the only reason they had to do such a thing was because of being caught out of position.

Sometimes the most important things in football are the less visible. Things like where your are on a pitch, the ground you cover on the pitch, making the correct pass choice, releasing the ball at the right time, knowing when to slow things up and speed things up, good off the ball movement giving space to other players and lots more. These are often more important skills than being able to dribble past two players and score a cracker, or being able to put perfect through balls on a plate time after time but they rarely get picked up on. Doesn't help when the standard of punditry is so low in this country.

£1000 to a pile of poo that Newcastle c***s will roll over on Sunday and let Chelski win, hoping Liverpool will lose. Toon have a Chelski player on loan and I wonder how much they were paid to take him!!!!

It seems fairly obvious to me he doesn;t want to be there anyway. I read he never wanted to sell Matic to United, was refused several signings. The relationship went toxic after that. boo hoo.
Oh him trying to get himself sacked has been one of the funniest things this season. Comment after comment, amazing.

Nah, Newcastle will hold their own. Benitez will want to get one over on them and the fans will want a huge last game. Chelsea will be deflated and Conte will already be gone.
