Kick Off: 08:00pm

Team Form: Spurs LDLWL Newcastle WWLLL (All competitions)

We won 2-0 at St James' Park in August and are looking to achieve our first league double over Newcastle since the 2004 -05 campaign. The magpies have won their last three away EPL visits to us, with Ayoze Perez scoring the winning goal on the last two occasions.

We have won our last 17 home EPL games against promoted sides since a 2-1 defeat to Norwich in April 2012. Newcastle haven't visited Wembley since April 2000, losing an FA Cup semi-final to Chelsea, they have lost their last six matches at Wembley, a run stretching back to the 1974 FA Cup final. They have won six EPL away games from losing positions against us, more than any side has beaten another from behind away from home in the competition.

We have lost two of our last four EPL games , more than we had lost in our previous 18 in the competition (W13 D4 L1). We have won our last seven EPL games played on a Wednesday, including two this season (2-0 wins at home against Brighton and Man Utd). Conversely, the Magpies have picked up just two points in their last 13 EPL games played on a Wednesday (W0 D2 L11) since winning 2-0 at Chelsea in 2012.

Getting 3rd is still in our hands but we can only do this by winning this game for a start. The players and Poch (through his selection) have to stand up and be counted. This game can definitely be described as a season defining one where, we can either drop to 5th outside the Champion League position or end up in 3rd, with one game to go in either scenario. Its totally up to us, end of.

COYS, taking my 7 year old for his first Spurs game, please don't let it be a horror show :nailbiting: to think we could end the game with 4th out of our hands!!!!

Please no Sissoko. That's all I ask. Drop Dele or Eriksen deep next to Wanyama and have Son, Moura & Dele/Eriksen behind Kane.

They are firmly on the beach and we simply cannot afford anything but a win.

We have lost our last three EPL home matches against Newcastle! That’s pretty shocking in every respect of the word.

Time to put in a performance tonight. Finish the season strong with two wins, get the job done.

If they're on the beach and we're on the beach,
assuming it's the same location
the name of the game is

BEACH FOOTBALL.

I think we will win either way.

2-1 defeat. Sissoko hat trick of own goals.

Pochettino fired out of a cannon at full time whilst Mike Ashley does a naked floss in the center circle.

We've got this. COYS

Taking my 9 year old daughter to her first gig tonight to see Ed Sheeran. But my attention will be totally focused on the score at wemberlee. COYS. Don't let us long suffering fans down. Hope Poch doesn't mess about with his team selection either. Toby to start. Sissoko nowhere to be seen. Big call to be made on whether Kane starts tonight. Personally, I think he needs a rest.

I'm looking forward to this evening, important game and probably my last visit to Wembley for a Spurs game for a long time. Trying the Club Wembley tier out as well. Hopefully 3 points to take away with some good memories of our year at home away from home.

Come on you Spurs!!
