Just want to take a moment to pay tribute to how Chelsea put the pressure on these last couple of weeks. Unlucky to come up against a Huddersfield team in top form

That was a terrible performance, very lucky to get 3 points there, but we did so well done I suppose!

Lot's of work to be done in the summer

If any of you were the man sat next to me but moved because of the annoying woman behind, it was nice meeting you! (You never know haha)

Decent atmosphere tonight I thought, bit lacking that some people booed at half time but otherwise I thought the general vibe was good.

Had my brother in law keeping an eye on the Chelsea score as he has access to the wifi at Wembley, so the nerves were even greater.

All in all, really proud of the boys, one more game to go then I'm done with the Metropolitan Line for a while!

On a side note - anyone else noticed there seem to be a lot more kids at night games (all games but it sticks out more at night) at Wembley?

Finally, I can relax. That was the most nervous match I've been at. We were abysmal, even Jan wasn't at the races. The atmosphere changed as soon as the Chelsea result came in. We are in Champions League again and we could take third. I think we will play with much more freedom on Sunday.

Really?
We weren’t at our best and quite nervous. But I’m not sure abysmal is a fair description.

Wanyama/Sissoko midfield is the worst Ive seen in ages. They battled relentlessly for crappiest performance. We were reduced to long balls from the defense who recognized nothing was happening in the middle and Eriksen dropping deep to get hold of the ball. We got lucky but Ill take it.

btw, who was doing the commentary - what we call the "color" guy in the states? he was depressingly negative. he complained over and over again that Wanyama and Sissoko were holding the ball too long (quite rightly) and then repeatedly criticized Dele for passing too quickly. Everything was a criticism.

On way home. (Getting the Chiltern Rail to Marylebone is a great route).

What a game. The stress was palpable. We did it. No bottling. Well done lads.

On the match, have to say Jonjoy Shelvey is some player. I don’t know if he’s consistent and I know he has a temperament problem - but he wouldn’t look out of place in a Champions’ League team based on the times I’ve seen him play (red card against us aside...!).

His passing was really impressive- quick, short, long and vision very good. His tackling and jostling was also impressive. He should go to the World Cup, IMO.

Anyway, reason for this post is that he’d be a great Dembele replacement assuming he’s off, but I’d be surprised if we ever moved for him in view of the attitude stuff and the English player premium price tag.

Well done Spurs - and well done everyone in the stadium today. Great noise ans support.

Let’s get 3rd! COYS!

Yeah he looked alright against our midfield who didn't bother to press or be remotely interested the majority of the game.
I'm sure similar was said after Sissoko tore us up for 90 minutes when we put in a similar performance away at Newcastle. We don't need more average shite like that, least Sissoko has a good attitude and work ethic

What's even more ridiculous is shelvey has 2 goals and 2 assists in all comps

Sissoko, 2 goals 5 assists with less games played and much less starts.

No more Newcastle United mystery box garbage

It's not, Newcastle certainly didn't play like they were on the beach.
I have just got home from the game long traffic jam on the M11 added nearly an hour to my journey and I didn't mind a bit, Christ I am in a good mood.
