Two points dropped
THIS
I don't think I've ever felt so angry and frustrated by a result. Unbelievable that we had so many chances, yet again, and failed to score.
THIS
31 attempts :bang:
2 points against Blackpool, Wolves and West Ham is unacceptable.
No. No it isn't. I said Blackpool was justa blip; I defended the result against Wolves; but this, it is just not good enough. Two points out of nine against three of the bottom clubs in the league:roll:
I'm always a glass half full kinda guy, but today has really knocked the confidence out of me.
Exactly.
be good for the kids and 2nd string, while the main team pushes for the title
......mg:...:duh:...
That was so disapointing to watch.. for me if you are playing anyone below the top 5 at home you should be playing two up top. Yes some people consider VDV to be a forward but he played so deep. Rafa is not dumb he knows when he plays with defoe we wont send the ball direct to a forward line due to a lack of height/hold up play so he goes looking for the ball. Where as when Crouch plays Rafa looks to get close to him for knockdowns.
So Harry, simple decision... either go RAFA with Crouch or Pav with Defoe.
This.
Funny thing is, though, we still had 31 chances.
Modric was great today. I'm just so sad we didn't buy that striker in the summer, we could have won the league this year.
Ain't that the truth.
Seriously.
Not so long ago, I pointed out that if United lost their two games against Chelsea and their game at Anfield we would be one point off them. Well, they've lost two out of two so far, and what do we do in the corresponding fixtures - lose to Blackpool and draw with Wolves and the Spammers.
A serious striker last Summer, and I really do believe we would have won the EPL this season.
