I have been pessimistic so far about the transfers made...yet this lad I would be delighted to sign. Finally signing a player who will actually improve on what we already have.

Can play anywhere across the front or just behind according to my friend in Germany.......but is he the striker we have been after or a replacement for Lamela?

I get the feeling he's a Lamela replacement and we're still due a striker (I'd love that to be Embolo) - though obviously I've no real idea. :chicken:

Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller has confirmed Son is having medical but terms and fees haven't been agreed yet. Come on Levy, no arsing around and haggling - get it done !!

Definite upgrade on lamella and looks a confident finisher. Without being cynical I would expect there are plenty of
shirt sales to be made in signing him as he is such star for south Korea. But still potentially an exciting addition.

yes the Korean link may be a factor in Levy's mind but who cares, the guy is a human dynamo, genuinely equally as good with both feet, shot like a rocket, lightening fast and excellent dribbling skills. For the £22 million being reported he's a steal.

If Levy pays £22m for him I will eat my neighbours dog!. Probably, at least the usual lazy journalists getting confused between £ and euros.

Erm, no, the reported price is 30 mill Euros, approx 22 mill pounds and he's worth every penny, you pay peanuts you get monkeys.

Not sure this is necessarily posturing / pulling out WBA deal. I think HMS is technically a replacement for Erik Lamela rather than a Berahino alternative.
