yea, just doesn't seem reliable at all. I'm Portuguese and have some knowledge about Brazilian news outlets and never heard of this one. doesn't seem one bit reliable.

Haven't seen loads of him, but from what I can tell he could do a job in our system at 6 or 8. He excites me more than Gallagher, but I don't think either would be more than a squad player for now, when we have everyone fit and available. I can't remember the last time we had so much quality and depth at CM...hopefully one day everyone will be available at the same time.

Gomes seems to be very comfortable on the ball, gets his head up early and is fairly progressive with his passing. Also appears to put in a decent shift out of possession and presses effectively. I don't know how good or how consistent he is compared to what we've already got, but I'm confident that he'd fit our system better than Hojbjerg (who I still think is a very useful option to bring off the bench when we're defending a lead).

With Wolves being closer to European qualification than relegation, but probably lacking the required strength/depth to finish in the top 7 this season, perhaps they would entertain this transfer. The short-term financial risk of Wolves losing Gomes is probably lower than Chelsea losing Gallagher (who's value won't be that much lower with 12 months remaining on his contract instead of 18).
