Tottenham are prepared to sell Emerson Royal this month after a training ground bust-up. The Brazilian, 23, was omitted from the Spurs XI for their Boxing Day draw against Brentford with Matt Doherty given the nod for the right wing-back role.

It is believed that Emerson has fallen out of favour with Spurs after being involved in a training ground disagreement with a member of the first-team coaching staff.

I can't imagine him arguing with anyone about anything.

It doesn't say that it was football related, could be a disagreement over skin-care regimes, who knows.... Football Insider apparently don't either.

No need for a fall out, bust up or any other excuse: we should always be actively looking (not “prepared”) to sell ER.
