perhaps we should all take a deep breath, before we all get too excited. Unless we have someone who wants us as a plaything it is unlikely they are doing this for shits and giggles. Billionaires are billionaires for a reason, they know how to make a profit and keep making a profit.

For the love of Spurs

probably a good thing. Investor feeling out the price, ENIC making a clear stance. Any other parties interested in buying also alerted to up their game.

I want ENIC gone but they have spent on transfers. Whether they are the right transfers is another issue and whether the wages we offer for the elite players is enough

"According to the CIES Football Observatory, Spurs' net transfer spend of £424m over the past five seasons is the fourth highest in the world, behind Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal"
That is a slightly misleading number - because the net number is high because we can’t sell anyone. But we have removed: Ndombele, Lo Celso, Rodon, Reguilon, Winks etc. from the squad, which should knock £100m off that net number.

We dont comment on anything normally, this is surprising. We never feel the need to come out and confirm or deny Club business. So much smoke there has to be a fire somewhere,

I haven't seen any comment from the club today?

Anyone link me up?

The stadium is probably 70% of the reason any businessman would want to buy the club.
The surrounding property probably holds greater long-term financial value than the stadium itself - assuming it can be developed properly.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Not for sale according to Sky Sports
It just seems to be a mixture of opinion and the obvious. There is nothing at all tangible to say that Spurs are not for sale.

The reporter is the one saying it in the video to be fair, but it sounds like he has been told rather than his opinion

It is. But Levy does come across as a 'control-freak' because this project has been HIS vision and he continuously talks about being a guardian.

What happens if the investors/owners start to do things he doesn't agree with?

I'm not completely sure, I've not got to the Julius Caesar part of my podcast yet

That sky reporter above sounded like he was told what to say directly from Levy…
What from that article? I still don't see anything in there of substance much less a comment from the club.

I'm probably being dense here. But then again it was bound to rub off on me eventually

EDIT: I'll go watch SSN once the ferret stuffing AGM has ended

Right.

So lets stick with ENIC for eternity and watch every PL club get faken over by ambitious owners?

Not at the expense of safeguarding the club no. One thing you can not aim at ENIC is not being custodians of the club. You may slate their investment or strategy but certainly not the 'care' for the club. Again its just a nasty feeling as I hate change. and certainly dont want more debt added
