Sad. Seeing the sudden increment in pages of this thread and I was bracing for some solid updates but turned out we were discussing Elon fucking Musk

People seriously thinking the problem with Twitter is the owner 🤣
Totally see how it is perceived as a cesspit, prior to Musk taking over.

But that has nothing to do with ownership, current or prior.

I feel bad for well over half the staff who are gone. Businesses that have lost essential exposure due to loss of eyeballs, and a massive drop in ad revenue. Not to mention the turning back on of accounts that spread misinformation. In particular those owned by state sponsored players. All highly active again and very influential. (I'd imagine those that work in psyops for intelligence services aren't particularly pleased about this.... Actually, no... wait... I don't 'imagine', I know this as fact.).

And now, FB has THREADS. Which will also pull away a huge chunk of their audience.

Current course and speed suggests he is running this thing off a cliff. That's a lot of billions of dollars of worth, and a lot of jobs down the drain. All because he is complete and utter prick. I wouldn't say he is stupid. Clearly that isn't the case. There's a reason he is doing all of this. And on the surface it does look idiotic. Maybe that's 'cos some people need the odd 'useful idiot' or two in positions of influence and power to enact their own ends.

(sorry for going off topic, clearly offended a few of you… mea culpa!)

TBF until Trix and Herc posted this morning pretty much everyone assumed there was nothing going on what so ever so at the moment its better to be cautiously intrigued rather then assume anything major is going on regarding an investment opportunity be it big or small. Details seem to be very thin on the ground to say the least and could well turn into nothing.

Yes there is a connection there between us and Liberty but looking on twitter there are already some who are suggesting that they want to buy a major share in us which feels like a stretch and a more likely someone reading this website and putting two and two together. It might well end up to be true or maybe QSI come back in, both are just as plausible as we have obviously held talks with both parties in different capacities in the past. As a logical guess it makes sense. But i'd still tend to think that anyone who isn't an establish journalist posting anything on twitter at the moment is most likely bullshitting even if it eventually ends up accidentally being true.

I also don't know why a Spurs bus would be at Silverstone and why it would have any link to a potential take over, we know Levy has quite the ego but turning up to talks in a giant Spurs bus would be on a whole other level. More likely that it is to do with publicity for the newly announced go kart track in the basement. Ether way if anything happens it will likely take months to develop.
The spurs bus at Silverstone would probably be linked to the go karts and partnership with F1. Wouldn't of thought that was hard to connect.

He certainly wouldn't be trying to extract an extra Million out of a fanbase on ticket prices in the current crisis the country are in.
He literally expects his staff to work 70 hour weeks and sleep in the office. Pretty sure he extracts and exploits every penny he can.

Sounds like we might work in similar fields, and yes, it was/is useful from a PsyOps perspective, but that’s because of the makeup of the majority of its user-base.

I have no understanding of finance/investments and this will probably show in this post but hear me out..

for any investment THFC would have to show interested parties, projected profits/gate receipts etc? Maybe these were shown in earlier discussions for future projections and was based on ST price increases. After the fan backlash regarding this, maybe that’s why the match day tickets have been increased to align with earlier projections for any interested parties.

or ENIC are greedy ****s…

Yep. Lots and lots of useful idiots. Conversely, some of those idiots leave helpful trails behind them...

The ticket price increase will lead to about £4m in additional revenue, or less than 1% of total revenue for the year.

Its basically a drop in the bucket for Spurs (but a bigger impact on the supporters).

Yeah I am all for the drama, and It would genuinely be an improvement on what we have, at least he wouldn't milk the fans of every last penny
Literally making people pay for blue ticks and removed the ability to see tweets without signing up due to massive cutbacks in areas he didn’t understand but sure he absolutely won’t milk us worse than we currently are being.

I genuinely don’t understand the cult of Elon. Dude has made a career piggybacking of other peoples ideas and yet is revered as some sort of genius.

Matterface isn’t wrong. The ownership structure is going to change. That’s no secret. Lewis has already stepped away, it’s in a family trust and one can assume when he dies the controlling interest will move to someone else, possibly in his family or possibly not.
