It's been claimed today Lewis has no role in ENIC since last year

In which case, and if that's true, who exactly does a bidder for THFC talk to? And what are the names of the people who have the legal power to say yes or no to a bid?

The trustees of the trust in which the shares are lodged and registered, which according to public records are Bryan Antoine Glinton, a Bahamas-based lawyer, and Katie Louise Booth.

I shouldn’t worry too much about it though. I’m sure they’ve thought it through.

Is the problem here that they're selling a property portfolio more than just a football club when some buyers would just like, despite the future financial benefits that come from the property portfolio, to buy a football club and so there's a chasm between the asking price and what others are looking to spend?

Or not. If so, disregard.
THFC did purchase a fair bit of property in the vicinity of WHL prior to the construction of the new stadium. The property to the west of the High Street was 'sold' to provide cash flow for the construction.

Guess, who bought it? Yep, it was ENIC. I am sure that they paid a fair price.

THFC still retain the property on which the hotel will be built.

So ENIC could sell THFC, but retain their property portfolio in Haringey.

hmm and the authorities will have to believe that Bryan and Katie have no contact with Uncle Joe? This is going to be messy, especially if US authorities can demand whatsapp messages

I mean HOW, just HOW does levy still have any backers? Reading that just defies belief!
I don’t think Levy has many backers, I just think that some people apply a bit of common sense or balance when he’s getting blamed for things out of his control or things that aren’t worth throwing tantrums about.

haha, some people try so hard to find a doomsday angle. I would bet several of my best testicles that this won't impact on the club but what do I know, to be honest, the whole thing is beyond the understanding of 99.9% of SC'ers, half of us struggle to balance or bank accounts let alone have even the vaguest grasp of high finance..............the best thing is to buy some popcorn, take a seat and watch :D

Cheers. That's what I was pondering. I wonder if they're asking it for the whole group of companies. If it is minus Tottenham Hotspur Property Company Limited, it seems the high asking price indicates no real desire to actually sell up. IMO.

Excuse my ignorance and apologies if it’s a stupid question but if Joe Lewis no longer owns us then who does? Like, who does any potential buyer negotiate with? Is it the Bahamas-based lawyers? The family? I don’t get it.
