No offence to the lad but he is slightly above average midfielder based on form.. We have some good squad players but we need to start bringing in "game changers". Are we only looking at him becuase he is about to be out of contract? another Holtby, Dier, Pinnear ...

Agreed but in what position?
We can't afford the finished article from 1 to 11.
Imo delph is a solid player, good engine who's tough in the tackle, exactly what we need to allow our front 4 the freedom to express themselves

I think Delph's a good player but we have Carroll who imo can still be a good option for Spurs plus Stambouli Dembele.

However if we do get Delph he'll be a busy f*** in midfield.

Would be an excellent addition, quick, mobile and has an eye for a pass. The antithesis of Paulinho (y)

Guys are forgetting that at 3m even if he doesn't grow in ability his value will regardless due to contract length.

If he was 3m, you buy him, let him compete for a season or 2 and then flog him for a higher value if it doesn't pan out. Assuming the valuation is realistic of course.

Decent , but much rather pay up and get Schneiderlin or Tadic from Southampton. Much better defensively than Delph. We've already got plenty of attacking midfielders, Eriksen,Chadli,Lamela,Townsend, Lennon, Dembele etc

It honestly feels like Levy is focusing on P&L even more than ever? It's a hard balancing act.

Easily 10 times a better player than Paulinho who we spent £17m on........at £3m its a NO-BRAINER!!!

Get him and be amazed at just how good Delph is.

I said for us to buy Schneiderlin nearly 2 years ago and to buy Tadic last season.

I am telling Spurs to buy DELPH this season....what a bargain.
